Death in Vegas : Dirge.
In the world's harsh wear and tear many a very sincere attachment is slowly obliterated.

Honestly, there's too many songs to recall that make me happy. One that occurs to me right now is "Beautiful day" by U2.

If I really, really need a serious pick me up, it's Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, 4th Movement (the famous choral setting of Schiller's "Ode to Joy")

Otherwise, there are many songs and albums I could choose from. Travelling Wilburys' Volume One (the whole album) or the late Roy Orbison's solo album "Mystery Girl" from the same period come immediately to mind.

For one song, though? Hmmmm.

"You Got It" by Orbison or "Handle With Care" by the Wilburys. Both lively, upbeat, energizing songs.

Electric Worry - Clutch

Absolutely amps me up.
“If she's amazing, she won't be easy. If she's easy, she won't be amazing. If she's worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you're not worthy. ... Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.”

I have to agree with the Traveling Wiburys. I loved them. Such a great group of people to have gathered together. I don't know many people who have heard of them. Of course two of them are no longer around. At least I hope it's just two, I'll have to check.

Picking one song is near impossible but for right now I'd have to say

Spring Waltz by Chopin will always put me in a good mood. I love listening to that piece.

I Sat By The Ocean- Queens of the Stone Age is another winner.

A Walk - Bad Religion (1996)

I'm going for a walk
Not the after dinner kind
I'm gonna use my hands
And I'm gonna use my mind

And who the hell are you, to tell me what to do?
You can't even tie your own haggard shoes
Your closet is a mess, your backyard's falling down
And I have no grand ideas or intentions of sticking around

So I'm going for a walk
Not the after dinner kind
I'm gonna use my hands
And I'm gonna use my mind

And I'm gonna build a world
Independent and exempt
All alone I'll be an empire
With no mortgage and no rent

And I don't need to live in your stinking zoo
You can't even feed the animals donated to you
Your storage sheds are ramshackled, flies decorate the walls
And you expect me to die here in this shit-filled tiny stall?

I'm going for a walk!

And I know you're watching everything I do
Call me threat to your children, call me socially unglued
Call me master of insanity, unable to relate
Call me lazy, bane and filthy
Call me monstrous reprobate

I'm going for a walk
And there's nothing you can do
Because I don't have to
Live like you

I love that you chose them...not one bad song.

If you count Del Shannon, 3. He was rumored to be taking Roy Orbison's place, but he committed suicide before they could ask him
