I think I am guilty of calling it all three. Mostly coke though.
Pop I think it is a Midwestern thing
I am from Ontario, Canada, I call it pop, then flavor specific. Pop would be short for carbonated beverages collectively. I don't get why anyone would refer to all pop as "Coke?" What if they want Pepsi or ginger ale? You still call it Coke? How would anyone know what you wanted if you ordered at a restaurant? Makes no sense to me.
I always say FIZZ...
(AS in, "You need FIZZ, Bunch?")

In the upper midwest of the US, mainly pop. I understand it slowly changes to soda and coke as you head south to Texas.
However in Georgia it's a Soder, or a Co-cola

Coca-Cola - I just call it Toilet Cleaner.
When the 'S'-Bend is starting to look like the 'Skid-Pan' at a Driver Training Centre, I just add 1 can of Coca-Cola and leave it overnight.
Next morning the active ingredients have left the porcelain looking pristine.
Anyhow, after too many Dr Peppers, all Forrest Gump wanted to do was 'Pee'.
MIDWEST=Illinois--Pop
Also MIDWEST=Illinois--Expressway/name/route number==Freeway
Southwest--soda
Soda, but head west and it becomes pop.
