Norbit. I didn't just hate the movie, I was actually offended that Eddie did the movie. HMFS, it SUCKED.
Sorry to detest the recently deceased director, but Wes Craven's first movie The last house on the left was equally horrible.
Also, I'm not sure even if more than a million people saw this movie, but back in 2008 I think, Ron Jeremy did a horror movie called One eyed monster. Trust me, I'd rather watch him fuck a guy for 12 hours straight than watch that horrible and pathetic excuse for a so called movie.

All three movies will never reached my eyes or ears ever again. I could definitely name more, but I'll keep my post short. I have to believe that on the set of every movie, someone had to really believe in it. Whether it was the director, producer, cast member or whatever. Really just someone that saw something that wasn't complete shit, but at least with these three, everyone had their heads up their asses and stole roughly 4 hours of my life. That may not seem like a lot, but trust me, those hours were pure torture.

Listomania. When they said bad movie night, I didn't realize it would be a true torture session.

I like some bad 80s action movies (e.g. American Ninja), but Wisdom was the worst. It was a heavy-handed retelling of the Robin Hood story written by, produced by, directed by, and starring Emilio Estevez. It wasn't even laughably bad, it was just bad.

Don't believe everything that you read.

I've hated some (Green Mile), but I've walked out of a few, too....

Alex & Emma (Kate Hudson & Luke Wilson), Heist (Mamet with an all-star cast), Eurotrip & Closer (each porn made to look mainstream),... All that come to mind right now.

Would that be the original or the one with Nicole Kidman, or both? Did you just swear under your breath?

The one with Nicole Kidman. And yeah, I might've cussed just a bit lol smile

"Howard the Duck." If you've heard of it, you know what I mean. If you haven't, thank whatever deity you believe in and do not Google it.

Happy Go Lucky (well, probably not the worst movie, but one one of the most annoying main characters)

Mama Mia!!
Although technically I didn't see it as I couldn't bear more than twenty minutes of this utter, untalented drivel. I honestly cannot see what on earth anyone likes about it!

I rather like ABBA and Meryl Streep is no Agnetha Fältskog...the cast butchered the music and the story was absolutely IDIOTIC...just abysmal.

My girls and wife went through a phase where they watched Mama Mia all the time, and I tried very hard to watch it, but it was as if my brain was screaming, "Noooooooo!" I'd rather be set on fire than watch that movie.

This is perhaps controversial, but the movie "Life Is Beautiful" (which gained an Oscar...) offended me beyond measure.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_Is_Beautiful

I GET what it tried to do, but I think it was AN ABOMINATION. (The SMART MONEY disagrees with me.) To IN ANY WAY candy-coat or trivialize THE HOLOCAUST (which I believe this film DOES) is frankly disgusting or at least deeply misguided.

Most people don't agree.

I really liked this movie too, and have had friends disagree vehemently, as you do. So I understand your argument. I think it portrays the Holocaust as hellish, and questions the role art should play when confronted with evil. I don't think it provides the answer, I think it asks the question. which I really liked.

It is a movie on which reasonable men can disagree.

Then again, I liked Waterworld too, so what do I know?

There's a scene in "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas" which isn't in the (children's) book... (So, fucking TALENTED DIRECTOR!!!)

It's about THIS BOY whose DAD is the commandant of Auschwitz/Birkenau...

His OLDER SISTER decides that as a NAZI GIRL she's going to PUT ASIDE her dolls because she's too grown up for DOLLS!!!

(Later in the movie, the little boy goes SEARCHING for something he has lost... He opens a CUPBOARD, and inside, are the naked bodies of his sisters dozens of discarded dolls...) It's one of the most shocking scenes I've ever seen...) The CHILD of course doesn't get the reference. (WE DO!!!!)

THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT!!!!

I LIKE Roberto Bennini as an actor. ('Life Is Beautiful' is a FUCKING CRIME as a film.)

(I STRESS again most people VEHEMENTLY disagree with me!!!)

I was once an extra in a movie starring Melanie Griffith, Tommy Le Jones and Sting. The best thing about it was picking out familiar scenery from the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It was called Stormy Monday and nowhere near the quality of the Michael Caine movie Get Carter (not the remake) which was also set there.

In an interview, the author admitted that he wished he had stitched the story together as well as the screenwriter. I read the book first and found that this was a rare occasion where the film is indeed better than the book.
I loved the film, I didn't love the book.

"Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf"... BORING!!!! Roughly two hours of watching a drunken couple argue... Hell I could have seen THAT in any tavern in town and brought a couple of drinks and shot a game of pool for what I paid at the theater!

Really, you didn't like 'Father of the Bride' with Steve Martin? I loved that movie. Not criticizing, I think it's great we all see things differently.

That's what makes the human animal so special. It's one of my fave's though.

I have three famous stories, 2 recommended reads and have come in the top ten in two competitions~ Come in and make yourself at home.

I waited and waited and waited SO long to see this online. I thought it looked so freaking amazing for what little previews I did allow myself to watch. FINALLY I found a copy to watch online and BAM what a waste! I was bored within the first ten minutes of the movie. I forced myself to watch the whole thing, in hopes it would get better. It only got worse. Sighs. A train wreck from start to finish.

I saw it just before I married my first husband... and I was so disappointed with it. I'm not really sure why. For a long time it was my least favorite movie though I know many like yourself who loved it. I didn't think you were criticizing me... you just were curious as to why. I'm sure if I listed some movies I really enjoyed a few would be like... "WHY?"

Thank you for confirming we did the right thing in walking out. I was told it was about cyber-bullying and I thought it was like a documentary like the movie Bully or Waiting for Superman. Sadly it wasn't even close.

Hey, Don't apologise. One thing Mama Mia has that is wonderful seems to be the ability to spark such an excellent debate.

maybe it should be called 'Mama Marmite'!
