Most places here charge between $9 and $10.

Yeah, I just took two kids to see Avatar. $33 for the tickets, and another $36 at the popcorn stand. 
That said, number 3 is still true. At least it is at MY house! (I got my daughter a new pellet gun for her 10th birthday! LOL)
