When I read what you said about Skynyrd, I was like WTF!! But then I looked at your profile and saw you favorite music and saw David Gilmour and Ritchie Blackmore listed as your guitar idols and I thought, OK he does have good taste. And seeing Pat Travers listed re-enforced it.
BUT. then I saw Patty Smyth and YUK!! Is there a more annoying song then "Good By To You"? Maybe Europe's "Final Countdown" or Starship' "We Bult This City" but not much else. HAHA
But Patty is very good singer but unfortunately to me she will always be associated with that song!!

As far as their studio recordings, I'd have to agree, but Man, I loved to watch them play live at their peak (Around the time 'You Get What You Play For' came out around the mid-70's. They rocked live.
