Yes, I'm sorry to see Pope Francis die. IMHO he was one of the best Popes during my lifetime – embodying the compassion that Jesus asked for him his followers rather than the conservative doctrinaire approach I fear his successor will take.

Oh well. This, too, shall pass.

And speaking of passing, Jay and I are crossing the border to go visit my younger brother and his wife in Ann Arbor today, visiting for three days. If I'm a little spotty in my appearance, it's not acne – I'm just not here!

I know that fan vid of Storytime. That's the Nightwish concert in Toronto from the last tour. The woman who shot that was active on Floor's website at the time. I had a medical appointment that day and pandemic measures were still somewhat in force so I didn't feel like traveling. Regretted it, too, when about a year later they announced they were taking a break from touring, at least as Nightwish. Almost all of them are on the road with side projects this year.

Good morning. Getting some nice weather at the moment.

No comp entry yet. Have the basic plot worked out and the opening scene written but have not felt much like writing. Or anything. Very low energy for some reason.

My comp characters are running all over me. I’m just gonna write it and the go chainsaw massacre all over it. The tentacles will survive the cut, though. 😈

Hot Island comp, eh? Nothing cums to mind, so I let it cogitate. Just heard about it since I just got back home.

Meanwhile, I'll be back in Kimmi's Korner, seeing if I can't shed some fur now that Spring's here.

Bit grey here but I am not planning anything big outdoors. Supposed to be nicer tomorrow so maybe clean the garage and service my bike.

Couple good albums out yesterday in the world of metal. Megastars Ghost and the lesser known but arguably more interesting Swiss folk metal band Eluveite. So I am posting the latter. Singer is band member Fabienne Erni, a wonderful young woman from Switzerland who also does some interesting solo and guest work.

Lights on, Lady Dryad has cleaned up and we’re ready to go.

It's Market Day, so I will be brief. I may not wear any, but there you go.

Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Lasang Salchow available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.

Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is now perkin' away.

Today we're using Folgers for our wounded friend.

I've put out donuts and some Mille Feuilles for y'all
