Morning, all! Or none.

Time to get caffeine going.

Lights are on, Lady Dryad has cleaned up and we’re ready to rumble.

Well, I usually rumble in the mornings anyway – but that's not important right now.

Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Irish Breakfast teas available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.

Big, Beautiful Bertha has been cleaned out, rinsed, and refilled, and is ready to go.

Today we're using Folgers Coffee in hopes of luring a certain Lion out of his fastness.

There are donuts.

Plus I've got some buttercream cuppycakes as I understand that Kat is back in town.

I know she's got a lot of repair & replace going around her place – damage mostly from Helene. However, she and hers are all fine, and that's the most important part.

As Stephen Hawking said, "Where there's life, there's hope."

Take care out there, 'K?

First up … Bobby Vinton … Mr Lonely

And now something seasonal and, um, uplifting … Bobby Pickett … Monster Mash

And finally, for today, Michael Jackson, formerly of The Jackson Five … the one-of-a-kind, change the course of music videos… Thriller

.

And dat's da Bear, outta there!

I'll be back in Kimmi's Korner with a mug of Irish Breakfast if'n anyone wants me. Actually, that's where I'll be whether anyone wants me or not!

Good morning.

I am sitting at my breakfast in the last week of October listening to...thunder! I mean thunderstorms in Halloween week seems kind of fitting but it's hardly the norm around here.

Irish Breakfast to start my day.

Since we are apparently doing seasonal music, here's some classic metal for the werewolf crowd.

Boo, Rumpies! 👻

Good All! I saw Kimmie’s photo of the pumpkin and laughed and then thought someone should spank that “naughty” girl.

I’ll have a cup of Bertha’s Best and get started adjusting after 33 days on the road with a project on the East coast. My thoughts and prayers are with you Kat as you and hubby work together on returning your life to normal after Helena. Take Care and Stay Safe all!

Evening Rumples, I've baked some jammy dodgers, using loganberries. They go surprisingly nice with white wine. I'll leave them at the end of the bar. Feel free to tuck in!

OOhhhh! Jammie Dodgers! Much better than Jammie Yankees, I'll warrant!

Caffeine, comin' right up!

Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Darjeeling teas available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.

Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is ready.

Today we're using Deadmonton coffee beans 'cause tomorrow's Hallowe'en!

We've got donuts.

Plus I've got some of Kimmi's buns – the cinnamon kind – available

Take care out there, 'K?

And Happy Hallowe'en, all you gurls and ghouls!

As if you weren't all scary enough!

I've got my costume ready… BOO!

Caffeine won't alleviate the cause, but it may cure the symptoms…

So we'll use Howling Wolf Coffee, from Muskoka Coffee Roasters.

AAaarooo!

And we've got PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES!

Back with more in a minute…

Or two.

And lots of other spooky treats.

Then later, we'll do some bobbing for FRENCH FRIES!

That'll be fun…

And to start the festivities, let's do the Time Warp Again…

Next up, a little culture … very little … The Devil Went Down to Georgia

And, of course, we'll end with … The Blues Brothers (2000) … Ghost Riders in the Sky

.

And with that, I'll bid you adieu … and happy scaring, everybody!

In that outfit, you should be the bouncer, not the bartender. No one gonna f s up with an armoured bear at the door.

Good morning and Happy Halloween! Not in a very Halloween-y mood this year. Almost let it slip by but someone at work insisted on a Halloween potluck.

And for Halloween music, I offer this treat from Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It's Camile Saint-Saen's Danse Macabre redone as metal. Band is in fine form here and those cackles from Simone Simons (hottest lead singer in metal, IMHO) are perfect.

Interesting use of Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabrelong out of copyright (like 1875!), of course, so fair game.

Very well-produced, and well-sung. Thanks!
