Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Earl Grey available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.

Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is now perkin' away.

Today we're using a new Columbian coffee

We've got donuts, of course.

Plus I've got some mille feuilles, also known as Napolean on this side of the pond.

Hope all goes well. I haven't pulled one of those weekends in quite a while but been there, done that.

It’s my last chance weekend before I start working 6/13’s on night shift on an Outage at a Nuclear Plant. What sucks is having to deal with that one day off and stay in “night shift mode”.

Understood. Our daughter-in-law is a lab tech at our local hospital, which means that she works night shifts regularly – but not always. The changeovers are a Bear.

Darjeeling and a cannoli for me. Another week over. Waiting for sun and things to warm up, then I will get out the hedge trimmer and brutally attack .... the bush by the deck. What, you thought I was going all Jason Voorhees on someone? 😈

I will fire up dear old Bertha with some nice Columbian dark roast. For teas, we have my favourite Assam and Buddha's Blend (white blended with jasmine green and hibiscus). And it's a bar so there's always booze as an option.
