Its been so incredibly hot and humid in Florida that I'm sort of looking forward to 71 F and chance of rain. We will be in the Grand Bend area. It was one of my favorite places to go as a teen. Then my sister bought a house there years later. Her hubby tried to convince us to buy one near them. But I’m a Florida girl. Even when I bitch about the heat.

Lady Jay and I were visiting friends yesterday. They left Toronto, and have bought a house on the shores of Lake Erie.

It's a beautiful, 100-year-old beach house that needs extensive repairs, but with a gorgeous back deck overlooking the water. Jay loves being near the water, and spent the whole time talking to our hostess.

Me? I was chopped liver. Well, not quite – our host spent the whole time talking to me.

I was a silent partner to the conversation.

I know, I know – y'all don't believe me, right?

Well, tough nougies.

Hope everybody is well, and life is beautiful where you are.

I'm gonna grab a mug of Red Rose, and wander back to Kimmi's Korner to watch her snore. She's been putting in beaucoup d' overtime!

Life is spanking me hard… and not in a fun way, peeps! But my superpower is resilience, so I’ll recover. Going away for the weekend to hopefully reset.

And just bought paperback copies of Bear’s story!!! My brother-in-law wants them to put in the library of the hotel for the homeless he runs. It’s a very successful project of taking in the homeless and giving them everything they need to get back on their feet, then send them back out to their own housing. The success rate is quite astounding so far!

I’m waiting for the hardcover book for myself!

Kimmi's partly right – the hardcover and paperback are on the market, but the ebook has been held up by "technical glitches" whatever they are. Kindle won't say.

I was going to hold off telling everyone until all three were available.

There will be an audiobook as well, That's being recorded now (I hope), but probably won't be available for up to two months.

I have to say, it's been harder getting the book published than it was writing it!

Sheesh!

I'll keep y'all posted.
