Good morning! Started a new Lush story and seeing if I can make it work for the comp. Likely not. It does not really lend itself to being dialogue-heavy but I am at 47.9% dialogue at the half so just need lots of dirty/pillow talk in the back half, which is the actual sex.

Popping in after my morning bike ride. It's quite chilly here this morning, 50 degrees when I came back inside. So chilly, the entire ride, my nipples were as hard as stones. Probably presented quite a sight to those that drove past me the other way. Gatorade has been downed and now I am looking for a nice hot cup of Earl Grey from here.

Hope everyone has a great day, although it seems quite barren in here lately.

This dialogue thing is an interesting challenge. Doubt I will come out with a winner but it is kind of fun trying. I am prone to long descriptive passages so trying to rein that in or get them into dialogue somehow.

Me grumpy! 😠 Really frustrating day. I scheduled a disbursement from my company stock to a rollover IRA. Financial institute holding company stock account would only issue check to company with IRA. They did NOT send a certified check. 😕 Check was cashed, but the company with my IRA says they never saw it. They’ve queried their system for check # and amount. Never received. Cancelled check has their endorsement stamp though. All parties pointing fingers. Meanwhile, a large chunk of my retirement is missing.

I’m beyond upset and frustrated with all parties. Please send me a large bottle of something strong…

If no one finds my money, maybe Bear will let me put on strip shows for coins in the Beer Garden.

Mr Ape, I called my client—a bank—and they were shocked by the whole thing. I’m not sure what to do if the company holding my IRA tells me they haven’t found the money tomorrow. I guess I’ll try to escalate up manager ladder with them.

Would the Crowdstrike issue have any effect on this at all? Just brainstorming here. Escalate all the way to the top! It’s unacceptable that they can’t find your money.

And I had the most amazing strawberries in England! Big, plump and juicy. They looked like the ones you get from California – except these strawberries tasted like berries rather than straw! DEE-licious!

I am reliably informed that strawberries are available at the local farmer's market. I'll have to wait for Saturday to find out.

Plus some somewhat stale bear claws that someone stuffed behind the bar.

Meanwhile, I brought back some French pasties as well – and learned some new, um, French from some of the Mademoiselles! O-la-la! I'll bring them out in a minute. The pastries, that is…
