Polar Bears get special dispensation. Since I don't need any knives or guns, I just saunter through the metal detectors, no problem. And if any TSA want to wand me – go right ahead. I can always rip them to shreds with my claws.

So far, not one of them have given me any trouble. Moreover, terrorists turn and flee when I'm in the security area – but little kids are a bit of a pest. They all want to come up and pet me!

We fly in First Class all the way. It's nice to be able to stretch out. And, of course, I always let the flight attendants know that I'm a professional Bear-tender, so the bar is always open for us.

We get along great, flight attendants and me. I'm a Million Mile flyer, so they always greet me with a "Welcome back, Mr. Bear!" In turn, I always treat them with respect. It's a hard job, most of them do it really well, and I appreciate their professionalism.

Now, enough of all that. Let's get some caffeine happening…

Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and Earl Grey Cream teas available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.

Big Bertha has been cleaned up, rinsed, refilled, patted fondly, and is now perkin' away.

Today we're using Lion's Maxwell House. Personally I've always wondered about their slogan – "Good to the Last Drop". I used to think it was the slogan for Otis Elevators, but apparently, they didn't want it for some reason.

Plus I've got some strawberries and cream.

Good morning.

I have cleaned up Bertha and put in some Tobermory Flowerpot Island. Picked it up when I was there last summer and serve it in Inspirations on StoriesSpace from time to time. Teas are Irish Breakfast and Raspberry Royale. Hot water ready for other hot drinkies and, hey, it's a bar so whatcha drinkin'?

It's more like lunchtime than breakfast time, but what the heck. Raspberry Royale sounds like it's a fruit tea, so Irish Breakfast please. Is it different to English Breakfast? Added Guinness, maybe? 🤣

Drinks on me today! I finally got my older daughter to select the flowers for her wedding (it was like pulling teeth) so I can sign that contract, pay the florist, and check that off my list!

Rumor has it that the younger daughter will be getting a proposal soon. 😉 I hope his definition of soon is someone close to mine, I’m busting at the seems with excitement and can’t say a damn thing to anyone IRL

Gearing up for our Neighbor cruise! 🚢 We leave Sunday to go to Ft. Lauderdale. Then the ship sails into the Carribean on Monday through Friday. Then the 6 of us are headed to Disney for 2 days. If anything good came out of Covid, it was the fact that we became incredibly close and consider each other family now.

Gonna try to have part two of The Last Dance ready to submit before we set sail. Not sure if I will have access on the ship or not. Previous cruises it’s been a no, but then those were Disney cruises and this one is not.

Hope everyone is doing well and has fun plans for the weekend.

We pretty much always pay for Internet on the ship, even if it is always overpriced and sucks. Access to email and messaging so family can reach us is a bit of a necessity. The major lines are all going to Musk's Starlink now so I am guessing that he is giving them a good deal. On my recent cruise, I used the Speedtest app to check bandwidth and latency and it was worse than an old DSL connection. Still, it let us back up our photos to my Google Drive. We didn't take a camera, just our phones since both have pretty good cameras and camera apps.

Kat, It’s great that the oldest decided on the flowers as you don’t need a

“bridezilla” even if it’s your own daughter. Fingers cross on the youngest getting a proposal. It wonderful that she mentioned it to you as she needed her mom to know. Now, the firewalls on ship’s has prevented access to this site. I remember getting a “Word” email from you one time so I wouldn’t miss a chapter. Bon Voyage and enjoy your cruise.
