Continues steamy here so I will take a tall cold glass of iced tea. Supposed to get better next week.

Working on a personal IT project. I bought a personal laptop last year, now working out how to ditch Microsoft and run things entirely on open source software. Switching to Linux as my default operating system at home has been an idea of mine for a long time and I might finally be getting there.

Heading across to Disney in a while. There is an event tonight at Typhoon Lagoon for DVC members. Then tomorrow we will spend a few hours at Epcot, returning home after lunch.

Tea Kettle is refilled and ready – if a bit askew. There are pots of Red Rose and Red Rose available on the sideboard, plus all the other stuff in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with … whatever.

Big Bertha has sorta been cleaned out, rinsed, and refilled, and is now perkin' away.

Today we're using whatever comes to hand.

I found some leftover donuts. They'll do…

First normal morning since getting back. Well, close to normal. With work looming tomorrow, hopefully this remains.

Good Morning, All! I am finishing up a trip to the Big Apple. I was here for a work commitment, during the work week and have been spending time with a girlfriend ever since. I took her to see the play The Lion King on Friday night. It was her first time, my 12th, or so. We spent time at the Met, yesterday, and wandering out Central Park. Last night we took in a Yankees game. Neither of us are Yankee fans, but it is Yankee Stadium, even if it's the new and improved version. We will be off to lunch, then a car over to Teterboro Airport for the flight home. I always prefer flying west to flying east as it leaves time to get things done on arrival.

Hope everyone is enjoying a nice weekend, although a hot one for a lot of us. BTW, "furry bear", I am not a coffee drinker which is where the "awful" comment came from. All coffee is awful for me, but you can certainly pitch me one of the doughnuts for good luck.

Folks, just so you know, on Wednesday – Hump-Day – Lady Jay and I will be boarding a Big Silver Bird and flying off to Jolly Old England – which isn't quite as Jolly these days.

Well, how could it be? They lost Lady Jay!

We'll be gone for about four weeks, which means someone else (looking at Lion and Ape) will need to look after Big Bertha and the bar. I'll drop in from time to time, but I won't be able to be regular about it.

Meanwhile, take care out there, and I'll leave you with a tune – not quite right, but right in spirit…
