Uh-oh...We can't edit or change our picks after we saved them? I'm in trouble this week if I can't. Filled out everything quickly becaused of Thursday's game and saved it, thinking I could look closer today (Sat) of Sunday morning and make changes. If I can, someone let me know what to do. If not I'll consider it a rookie mistake and be hoping for a lot of DUMB luck. hahaha

Ok, never mind...I figured it out... if you want to change your confidence points after you have selected them all:
click the drop down and select ( - ) to free that number up again.
"Enough talking, time to play the game"

Terrell Suggs on The Jim Rome Show: “I’ll take a fine, if I get a good shot at a quarterback."

“Hit anything with purple and black on,” said Ward. “Just hit it. Regardless of where you are on the field, if the whistle hasn’t blown hit anything purple and black because that’s what this game is all about.”

My Vikings pick is looking good so far, helped out by a Kaeding being hurt. Kind of feel bad for those who either didn't know about, or didn't understand the confidence points, though.
The weighted points thing sucks. It's extra complication. Is there a way I can just weigh all the picks the same value?

LadyX look at it this way point spread and the confidence points are separate. So by the end of the week or season there will be two awards for best record smile

I was just gonna ask this same question .....

I thought it was just a point a win and nothing for a push or loss.

I am outta here .... sorry ..... not interested
Ok, Re-read the messaged after my work shift. You're just going to award a win-percentage award as well as a points total? If so, I understand what you meant. smile

Yeah, after the terrible point results I had yesterday (26 of a possible 114 ) my actual point confidence level is all 1's. haha.

And knocked out the Survival in the first week!

But on the bright side, it does leave sooo much room for improvement. Maybe I will set up a spinning dartboard to increase the intelligence level of my picks, hahaha.
Oh well, it's only week one.
Hello Pro Football Pick 'em and Survival League and anyone else who has interest.

The first week of the NFL regular season has come and gone. If I remember right from last season there were three games that were the annoying little 'push' games. This season we had two of those games in the first week.

As you all may know I am a die hard Stillers fans and my boys just got embarrassed against the Ratbirds of Baltimore. Hell they embarrassed themselves completely by being out scored by Cleveland and the jailhouse city of Cincinnati.

Well now here it comes and I have and will do this every week. I will be giving out the awards for best and worse of the week in the pro football pick 'em. The first winner of the "Golden Piggy" with the best record of 8 wins goes to the lovely lady MexicanGodess and with the most confident points the award goes to SouthernJim he had the best in points with a grand total 71 points. Without further ado to the top of the pile here is your award. The illustrious Piggy ...

Now I also award the "grand throne" of the league if not in Hole house of life. This award seems to come up with multiple winners every week and this week is no different. The two winners of the worse with 4 wins for the first week; I hereby award standingbear and Red Dragon the very famous "Flusher" award. Also for participating with the confident points AlwaysHisAngel with 5 points comes in as the worse ...

Here are the standings in record and confident points

Jim If the Pats are favored by less than 10 points ... I would bet on the Pats. Hell I would bet the Pats will win by 20 biggrin

Freckles smile Can I get a piece of that action on 30October when ya Pats and Buffy Brady come to Pittsburgh. :)

I know I still owe ya for last year ... I might get the picture taken this week when I go to St L :)

what's worse is I did 11-04 on the straight up. Ya got to love the point-spread
Hello Pick 'em Folks

What a crazy week two. I lost two bottles of wine and a massage because Tennesse decided to show up and Baltimore, well the Ratbirds are just the Ratbirds. Now for my lock of the week Seattle laid the BIG egg against my Steelers. Thought Seattle would have at least covered +14.5 spread.

Well without further ado I will hand out the awards for week two. standingbear is the big winner on both winning 9 games for the week and collecting the most points on the confident. So the golden piggy is awarded to standingbear ...

Now for the so popular flusher award goes as a tie and the two participants are tomlando and your's true that came in last with 4 wins ... also tomlando gets the flusher in the confident points he accumulated 19 points.

Now after two weeks the top five standings look like this ...

1. MexicanGoddess 14
2. Eviotis 13
2. SouthernJim 13
3. Hollywood3 12
3. standingbear 12

1Red Dragon 119 11-16
2MexicanGoddess 118 14-13
3standingbear 115 12-15
4 SouthernJim 111 13-14
5 LadyX 105 11-16

Yay... Im in the top 5! Victory Dance!
