I know I'm going to disappoint myself by making a resolution I cannot or won't keep ...so I simply don't make them - not a new year's resolution anyhow. Much like BB, I set myself little goals throughout the year
For the most part, I'm gonna stay happy for the rest of my life. : )
Torture the data long enough and they will confess to anything.
I quit smoking while at a rest stop on a greyhound bus, Christmas afternoon. I took the cigarette out of the pack, held it in my hand, then threw it away. I haven't had one since and am determined to quit.
I am taking some pills for it that I was given by a friend, but still- it's made me very moody and occasionally psycho. It will be worth it.
I set goals, not a resolution.
1. Get back in the gym
2. Be a better person
3. Work harder and do more for my career
4. Do more outdoor recreations - hiking, going to the lake, target shooting, basically anything outdoors
5. Be more acquainted with my dog
There's more, I just can't think of them at the moment.
Well, since I have already quit smoking, I vow not to go back to Afghanistan lol!!!
So I say, “Live and let live.” That’s my motto. “Live and let live.” Anyone who can’t go along with that, take him outside and shoot the motherfucker. It’s a simple philosophy, but it’s always worked in our family. George Carlin
1. Be a little more creative with my travel blog
2. Don't start smoking again
3. Find a job as a dive master
4. Lose weight
5. Make it to university in the fall
Well, I was going to start a New Year's Resolution thread, but I found this one!!
I'm going to try to be more focussed and more organised next year...

I don't believe in new years resolutions. If you want to do something or change something start today don't wait for a new year or a specific date on a calendar. Carpe diam!! (did i spell that wrong?)
Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. "Yes" is the answer. ~Swami X
My NYR is going to be: have sex with people you really want - not just because its there- right.
To sell my old Kawasaki Vulcan and buy a new cruiser.
My last resolution was to get out more, this year it's the same.
No resolutions! I never keep them!
I just want to make changes in my life for the better and stick to them without the B.S. New Years Resolution garbage that never works!
More self discipline on my part will make anything I want change, will change.
Kisses!

Keeping it real simple....I vow not to invade small countries or launch manned space missons from my backyard.
My NRS is to follow my dreams. One of my dreams right now is to spend the rest of my life with a man that I have fallen deeply in love with. He is the most amazing man in the world.
Find a girlfriend since I havent had one in a while
Quit smoking and to keep living as the new an improved me....even though many people say I an not as much fun as I used to be...

Get back in School.
I now have several:
1: give up smoking (which I've been successful with so far)
2: Get a better job
3: When I see a lady that I feel attracted to, talk to her and stop being so afraid of success
4: Stop being a lazy bastard
5: Learn and grow as a person.
