Hey everyone,
I have a question. I made my picks for this week. On the side of you sheet you get an X or a check mark. Check mark means you chose the right team, right? X means you did not, right? There are two games I chose correctly and they have X marks by them. Can someone explain what that means? I am confused.
Deb.

Baltimore and New England both won, but they did not beat the spread. New England needed to win by more than 14 for that selection to be right, and Baltimore had to win by more than 10.5.

Looks like fun tonight, in my office pool and the Lusher's pool both have one point separation. Can't wait to see who you both picked, and who wins tonight, then it could be up to the tie breaker. Ohhh, the sweet agony.
National Football League
Week Three
Review

To begin with, who told the Kansas City Chiefs they could play football let alone be 3-0.
Pittsburgh, for most of you know my heart is all Black and Gold. I took Tampa to cover the point spread, because I just couldn't see my Stillers going against the Baltimore Ratbirds being 3-0. Now when my Stillers beat the Ratbirds and are 4-0. Who starts at QB against the Mistake By The Lake after the bye week?
Tennessee, I can see it coming. Is the doghouse "Big" enough. Vince and Jeff have a love/hate relationship. Who will be the one staying?
My hometown St L Rams. Happy to see a W, but does this mean an 0 for the rest of the season? They do need a quality back up RB or they will be replacing SJ before his time. What SJ has done on the field with a bad team. He deserves injury compensation insurance and an invitation to the Hall when that time comes.
In New England. Where is the defense? and will "Buffy" Brady's long locks be an issue to team chemistry?
Atlanta Dirty Birds, will they just surprise? That Matt "Kid" Ryan has ice in his veins.
In Giants land has the boot camp been booted?
Houston losing to Dallas, is this the beginning to the end? 5-8 rest of the season?
Dallas, Is the soap opera over?
Is there a soap opera in Philly?
Honestly the Raiders should have won that game.
Chargers, Whose next? and don't forget to turn the lights off on your way out the door.
NFL here is an idea. Leave the Jets alone. It's fun watching and to see what will happen next.
Tonight I want to see if that Mad Scientist (Mike Martz) in Chicago is going to die. Go Pack!!!

Eh, not an issue anyways since you both went with...'da Bearss. I would have picked them too, but man that Cutler can lay huge stinky eggs once in a while.
"I took Tampa to cover the point spread."

How dare you???? You have just lost one of your man cards.
Never, ever, go against the curtain again or I'm gonna tell.hx2DloBUdWIEGCY3
The only losses I can see right now would be one of the two Raven games, and maybe the Pats (fingers and eyes crossed).

As for Philly, damnnnnnnnnn. Vick looks like he's about to do some damage.
Ugh!!!! Chicago down by contact at the 1/2 yard line, and then, they don't kick a field goal for 3 points!!!

jeeezzzzzzzzzz!!!

crazy game tonight!

No doubt, the Eagles look pretty tough. And it looks like that dog-killing quarterback's still got a little something in the tank. If my team had any draft picks or decent players left, I'd say trade for the white guy they just demoted- he can't be any worse than the fools we have right now.
Week Three Pigskin Trophy goes to the Black Widow of the Lushers Pick 'em League with an outstanding record of 11 wins The Mistress of Darkness LadyX ... Congrats LadyX for a very superb week of picking the winners.
Now for the Flushers award. This procrastinator of picks is the first to win two awards only this time they have gone from the penthouse in week one to the sewer in week three. So without further ado or flushing in the toilet. I present the royal flush to jacknife ...

Damn dude, what the hell did you eat?
lmao

Well I have been eating ratbird stew and doing voodoo and terrible towel waving to break the bird biggrin
Whatta game this Sunday (Oct 3) .... Michael Vicks matched up against Donovan McNabb! Philly favoured by 6.

I hope it is a great game or alternatively, I'll be THRILLED if/when Vicks washes McNabbs and hangs him out to dry!!

Go Eagles!! Go Vicks!!

(and I refrained from posting my Eagles helmet again .... lol)

The Bills could use him. I still think he has potential. And the Eagles could take one of the 3 starting caliber running backs the Bills have.
