What a Hell!!!! of a first week of the season. Had three games that went push. Had a predicted divisional winner lay the Biggest Egg. Had another divisional powerhouse get run over by running back that in most fantasy football leagues sat on the bench. And this is just to name a few.

Now for our little pro football pick 'em league here on Lush. Here as well had a few surprises. We had a tie for first place. And one that was in the tie Hell No!!!! Jacknife and Charlie Brown (me) came away with 9 victories. Well I can just tell you all I won't see that again for the rest of the season. So without further ado I present the Pigskin Pick 'em Weekly Trophy to Jacknife and Charlie Brown ...
Now I also have another award to give out and this award will go to the participating player(s) who brought up the the rear~end of the Lushers League Pro Football Pick 'em and this dubious honor goes to ... Jebru, so Jebru congradulations for bringing up the rear in our little NFL pick 'em league. Jebru, Do you think you should stay with the CFL? Well without further ado, Jebru here is your trophy ... ... So flush this week and come out smelling like a rose for week two.

Thank you very much, I put it down to going for Houston and Seattle, oh and a terrible call in the Lions/Bears game, anyone seen that?. Can't believe that KC beat the Chargers though.

Just had a look at the week 2 fixtures and if i get anywhere close to nine right. I will be very happy.

Well let's see what hapens in the Black Hole after my hometown St L Rams come a calling. One of the radio sport talk show guys here in St L says it could be a hard chore for the young Rams to come out of the Fanatic Black Hole alive. I will say it could be a very good game. smile

Now listen: As a few of you know here I am not a big fan of the Jacksonville Jagass', but come on now they are underdogs +8.5 @ San Diego. I'll take that cover. And then there is this laugher Dallas opened as -9.0 favorites over Chicago. Yeah the Bears are bad, but at least it's not because of a soap opera as is going on in Dallas. Cleveland as the favorite over Kansas City. Pleeeaaase!!!
Also just as like week one had three push games. Week two opened with five games with no favor.

Here for cuddlebunnie73, your 9ers better be trying to figure out happened against the Seaguls, because NO Saints will put up 38 points in the first half without breaking a sweat.

well, don't forget the spread changes as the line changes in Vegas .... so really, double check your pick(s) closer to the game for what the spread is!!

I am not 100% when the spread is fixed (meaning no longer changing), but I believe it is 12 to 24 hours prior to kickoff.

I don't have to manage multiple games. I'm only primarily interested in the Steelers. That's also why I'm not participating in the league charlie started. My knowledge of NFL is entirely based on the Steelers. I'd end up in last place and as a competitor I'd hate to be the next Jebru.

It's a long season, that was only week one. You gotta take it one game at a time, and give it 110%. Any other cliche you want to include. lol. By the way, does anyone know what news came out that made the Jags-Chargers game go from Off(0) to the Chargers being an 8 point favourite?

did anyone tell the babe with the knee highs whether or not it was too late to join in the fun. I personally don't know.

on another note, one thing I hate about living in florida is that i'm stuck watching fat ass going up and down the sidelines instead of my badass STEELERS!!!!!!!! Boosh!

The track record of the Steelers against the Titans is really bad, like 1 win in 9 times they played them on their home soil. Seems I should a bit scared to watch on Sunday haha. Good thing the Euro branch of ESPN America is broadcasting this game so I won't have to resort to alternative means to watch it.

The Steelers have a revenge factor from a couple of years back when a Titans player "Disrespected" The Terrible Towel. I guarantee that is on the bulletin board for motivation. Mendelhorn has something to prove also. Don't be surprised if he handles the rock 30-35 carries.

I can promise you, you can see the Stillers on television. You just have to know where to look. Sports Bars are a good place to start and if you look hard enough you can find a Stillers only bar. I have a couple of sports bars here near St Louis, Mo and I have found a couple of Stillers bars in ST L
