I agree that Romo isnt a clutch QB but you are giving him way too much blame for Dallas' problems. How many passes have his receivers dropped that he put right in their hands? Dez dropped a sure TD last night. What happened to the running game? Seems like the line cant block for the running game. And the defense? They never seem to make the big stop when they need it.
Romo will never be compared to Tom Brady, but you can do a lot worse (see NY Jets)!
Edit: Isnt it great that more women here talk football with passion than the men do. LOL
It's a country club atmosphere, and that negates any coaching toughness or player leadership. Garrett's a known disciplinarian, he's not sweet. The problem is that Jones undermines him, just like he has every coach except the ones that insisted on total control (Johnson and Parcells). So firing Garrett would have no affect on the overall issue. Romo, Witten, and Lee carry the only semblance of locker room gravitas on the entire team, so the perception that the players yearn for the clipboard-holder really isn't true.
I'm not a cowboys fan either, I just live with one who lives and dies with them.
You know what I call that team in Dallas? The Chokeboys, from the top down they lack heart, coaching and consistency. A lot of it is Jerry Jones and the way he's cultivated the culture there. I didn't read all of the debate here but that's my two cents.

The Tebow train cometh. Maybe God really is watching.... according to YahooSports....
"Sanchez, who wears jersey No. 6, has 6 touchdown passes and 6 interceptions so far. He's averaging 6.6 yards per attempt, and his longest completion is 66 yards. His passer rating: 66.6.
Throw in a pregame tweet from Tebow noting that the Jets-Texans clash was the 666th Monday Night Football game, followed by the obligatory biblical passage, and the NFL might as well start printing Satanchez jerseys in green-and-white."
There you have it. Tebow is on God's team. Satanchez plays for the devil.
When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. Socrates Mind if I just pass on this. Team sports suck. I love the individual sports. One man or woman against the world.
