I'm rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles and the NY Giants....that is all.

Which team do you think is the most disappointing thus far, the most surprising?

I've waited ten long years to dote on my Texans!

For me the most disappointing will be the New Orleans Saint. I know they're missing coaching personnel and key players due to suspensions, but I thought the teams they faced thus far, they should've beaten them. At this point in the season, I thought they would've been 3-0, maybe 2-1 at worse, but not 0-3.

I would have to say the most surprising are the Philadelphia Eagles. Not because of their record, but because of their level of play. Majority of this squad have been together 3 years now. In 2010, they lost in the 1st round of the playoffs. Last year, they got off to a horrible start, finished strong but missed out on the playoffs. I figured at this point, with all the weapons on offense, their quality would be better, and they would be scoring more points. I guess you have to give a ton of credit to the 3 defenses they faced in the Ravens, Browns, and Cardinals.

I have either the 49ers/Eagles vs Ravens in Superbowl.

Sorry Coco, I know Houston is hot right now, but I think the Ravens will beat them in the playoffs.
Most Surprising, Arizona Cardinals!

Most Disappointing, New Orleans Saints, The Team not her, LOL!

Now that prediction I can completely agree with; I've said the very same thing since game 1. And I do hope I'm right because I am eying some very sexy shoes as payment for a bet!
Raider vs Seahawks! that's MY prediction! hey, it could happen!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Hey, I like my team

Cowboys!
Fucking Cowboys fucking did me in again. I've lost the point on the Cowboys game every week. Can someone put a hit out on Romo? Impossible to know how the fuck that guy is going to play. Fucking Romo.

Oh give him a break. Only 3 of the interceptions were his fault, LOL!!

Jason Garrett isn't a very good coach. Team has gotten worse under his leadership. Proof of his lack of coaching skill, late in 4th quarter and Dallas has no chance of winning the game. Garrett leaves Jason Witten, Dez Bryant (admittedly not as good a WR as anyone thought), Miles Austin and other starters in the game. Leaving them open to injury in meaningless trash time. Especially Witten who already had a busted spleen in teh preseason. Garrett leaves all of them in, but pulls Romo? WTF? Pull ALL your playmakers. Not just the one that handed game to Chicago. Orton should start next game.

Jason Witten is on Jason Garrett's (too many Jasons) Fantasy Football team so he needed him to score. He figured that was more important since he may not have this job that much longer! LOL
I've met Dez Bryant before (long story), and I can testify, that guy's dumb as a bag of hammers. But I'm sure the league has more than a few dumb wide receivers; you don't have to know quantum physics to memorize a few dozen routes and blocking schemes. I'm told he has had possibly the worst childhood you could ever imagine, so who knows what that has to do with it, but he's a terrible case of wasted ability so far.

And wow, what a game Romo turned in LOL. Ah well, he's prone to turning in a clunker every now and then, but he's far from Dallas' biggest weakness. Ask Miami, Cleveland, or Oakland if they'd rather have Tony Romo or the draft pick bust du jour for 10 years running.

So true about the Wide Recievers. When ever you hear of a football player getting in trouble it always seems to be a WR. Dez, Ochostinko, Owens, etc. Didnt some WR kill his wife a few years back? They all seem to be prima donnas too. Although I did meet the WR on Ariz Larry Fitzgerald a few years ago at a Breast Cancer Charity function and he seemed like a really nice guy.

Well at least Dez didnt shoot himself, or anyone else!!

If I were a GM, I'd take any of the QBs in those places over Romo. Wheeden will get better, he's just a rookie. And with Trent R. as an RB it will take pressure off him. Tannehill in Miami is going to be decent too. Oakland, that place is fucked up. Romo is reminds me of a shortstop in baseball that has superior talent above other shortstops. A SS that can make the spectacular play that awes the crowd, but boots the routine ground ball hit right at him. Romo is cursed in Dallas. He may do better in Jacksonville or somewhere the spotlight gleeming off that Blue star on isn't as blinding.

edit.. by the way, i'm glad to not have the lowest score of the week. that was getting bothersome. lol

Had to look it up, but it was a dude named Rae Carruth. Killed his pregnant wife and was found hiding in the trunk of a car. LOL

(why I tacked an "LOL" onto a story about a pregnant woman getting murdered, I have no idea. If there's a hell, I'm going there)

You're officially insane. Wait, you're name isn't actually Jeff Ireland is it?

Don't forget about Dallas/Chicago WR Sam Hurd that got busted for running an international drug ring.

I heard last night that Romo is something like 14-12 in home games. That isn't very good. Dallas has changed coaches. Parcells, Phillips, Garrett and they still continue to spin their wheels. No progress. Great defense, potent offensive weapons, no progress. Only constants have been Jerry Jones and Tony Romo. One has to go and it aint' gonna be Jones. I wouldn't put Tony Romo in the top 15 QBs in the league.

The stat you heard was that Dallas is 14-12 in the new stadium. If you recall, Romo spent big chunks of two of those years hurt. You've pinpointed the problem, but it's not Romo. It's the General Manager, who unfortunately will never be fired by the Owner.

I'm not here to say Romo's an elite QB in the same conversation as Rodgers, Brady, Brees, and Eli, but Cowboys fans sure have short memories, given the Quincy Carter/some-guy-named-Hutchinson wilderness they wandered through for seven or eight years before Romo emerged. I grew up an Oakland fan, and except for about 3 years of surly-ass Rich Gannon, we never had a serviceable quarterback, and still don't. What I wouldn't have given for 10 or so years of Romo, who by the way, is in the top half of every major statistical category for QBs over the past 5 years, and in most cases, he's in the top 10.

All I'm saying is, careful what you wish for. Orton's a proven substandard QB twice-over, which is why he's a backup now. Weeden may be great, but I doubt it, since I can't recall the last QB from a gimmicky chuck-and-duck college offense that become a reliable multi-year starter. And Tannehill? Well, the next QB pick that works out for Miami since before I was born will be the first.
Yes, 14-12 in the new stadium. That sucks. You can't be an elite football program with a barely above .500 record. I'm not a Dallas Cowboys hater, they were my fave team as a kid (besides the Saints). The GM could be a big problem. He should have dumped Romo a couple years ago.

I remember the Quincy/Hutchinson years. That was bad. Then they got Bledsoe but he was supplanted by the promise of Romo, and it just didn't pan out. JJ has money and could have gotten a QB via free agency. At this point, Peyton Manning would have been a great fit. I'd take him over Romo anyday and twice on Sunday. I think Romo is a great backup. Take the pressure off of the guy and let him come in to save the day when the starter goes down and he'd do much better. Putting the team in his hands, he can't handle it. Over the past 5 years he may be in top 10 in stats. Where does he stack up in wins? And if he is high in statistic categories, it's because he has a larger sample size.

If you were a General Manager and you could pick any QB to be your starter, Romo wouldn't be in the top ten. Barely makes top 15. In no particular order, QBs I'd take before I took Romo: Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Eli, Peyton, Ben Rothlisberger, Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers, Joe Flacco, Matthew Stafford, Cam Newton, Jay Cutler, Matt Schaub. Possible even take Andrew Luck and RGIII before Tony.

Just my opinion, and that's all it is. You damn hippie Romo-apologist.

That's like saying the election could dominate October news cycles. There's no doubt, really.

Huh? The statistics are only measured against other quarterbacks over the same number of games. What do you mean by sample size?

I haven't looked at the stats. I only meant that he may have more TDs or yards passing than other QBs that haven't been in the league or starting. But, like I said I haven't actually looked at the stats. But none of them matter to me, wins/losses only. He can't even get them to the playoffs anymore.
