No more bad officiating! WOOOHOOO!!
Week 4, how's your team doing? Which team do you think is the most disappointing thus far, the most surprising?
I've waited ten long years to dote on my Texans!

For me the most disappointing will be the New Orleans Saint. I know they're missing coaching personnel and key players due to suspensions, but I thought the teams they faced thus far, they should've beaten them. At this point in the season, I thought they would've been 3-0, maybe 2-1 at worse, but not 0-3.
I would have to say the most surprising are the Philadelphia Eagles. Not because of their record, but because of their level of play. Majority of this squad have been together 3 years now. In 2010, they lost in the 1st round of the playoffs. Last year, they got off to a horrible start, finished strong but missed out on the playoffs. I figured at this point, with all the weapons on offense, their quality would be better, and they would be scoring more points. I guess you have to give a ton of credit to the 3 defenses they faced in the Ravens, Browns, and Cardinals.
I have either the 49ers/Eagles vs Ravens in Superbowl.
Sorry Coco, I know Houston is hot right now, but I think the Ravens will beat them in the playoffs.

Fucking Cowboys fucking did me in again. I've lost the point on the Cowboys game every week. Can someone put a hit out on Romo? Impossible to know how the fuck that guy is going to play. Fucking Romo.
Quote by Nikki703
Oh give him a break. Only 3 of the interceptions were his fault, LOL!!

Jason Garrett isn't a very good coach. Team has gotten worse under his leadership. Proof of his lack of coaching skill, late in 4th quarter and Dallas has no chance of winning the game. Garrett leaves Jason Witten, Dez Bryant (admittedly not as good a WR as anyone thought), Miles Austin and other starters in the game. Leaving them open to injury in meaningless trash time. Especially Witten who already had a busted spleen in teh preseason. Garrett leaves all of them in, but pulls Romo? WTF? Pull ALL your playmakers. Not just the one that handed game to Chicago. Orton should start next game.

I've met Dez Bryant before (long story), and I can testify, that guy's dumb as a bag of hammers. But I'm sure the league has more than a few dumb wide receivers; you don't have to know quantum physics to memorize a few dozen routes and blocking schemes. I'm told he has had possibly the worst childhood you could ever imagine, so who knows what that has to do with it, but he's a terrible case of wasted ability so far.
And wow, what a game Romo turned in LOL. Ah well, he's prone to turning in a clunker every now and then, but he's far from Dallas' biggest weakness. Ask Miami, Cleveland, or Oakland if they'd rather have Tony Romo or the draft pick bust du jour for 10 years running.

Didnt some WR kill his wife a few years back?

If I were a GM, I'd take any of the QBs in those places over Romo. Wheeden will get better, he's just a rookie. And with Trent R. as an RB it will take pressure off him. Tannehill in Miami is going to be decent too.

Had to look it up, but it was a dude named Rae Carruth. Killed his pregnant wife and was found hiding in the trunk of a car. LOL
(why I tacked an "LOL" onto a story about a pregnant woman getting murdered, I have no idea. If there's a hell, I'm going there)

You're officially insane. Wait, you're name isn't actually Jeff Ireland is it?
Quote by lafayettemister
I heard last night that Romo is something like 14-12 in home games. That isn't very good. Dallas has changed coaches. Parcells, Phillips, Garrett and they still continue to spin their wheels. No progress. Great defense, potent offensive weapons, no progress. Only constants have been Jerry Jones and Tony Romo. One has to go and it aint' gonna be Jones. I wouldn't put Tony Romo in the top 15 QBs in the league.

The GM could be a big problem.
And if he is high in statistic categories, it's because he has a larger sample size.
Quote by LadyX
Huh? The statistics are only measured against other quarterbacks over the same number of games. What do you mean by sample size?
