In London, they call soccer "football" and get snotty anytime you refer to the NFL or college football as "football." By embracing London and English people in general, that meant I was embracing their definition of "football."

I would like to think that most of us understand that there are words that mean different things in different locations. Tolerance is lacking in the world. Most Brits KNOW that when an American says "Football" they are not referring to Soccer. And, any North American, in speaking with a foreigner knows the international name for soccer is football, and I certainly would NOT correct them.
Now .... more importantly ..... Mine and Guille's Eagles won .... but didn't cover the spread,

This is awesome!! We all know that soccer is "football" to the rest of the world but then again we are Americans so naturally we are correct!! HAHA
