So, I went out for a drink in the pub with a guy who's the husband of my wife's friend last night.
To cut a long story short, him and his very pissed mate got thrown out, while I was playing pool, and as there was nowhere else to go at that time of night, we ended up walking back to his place.
His wife and kid were asleep, the drunk ass mate fell asleep on the couch, and unbelieveably he puts on a porn film. I've not watched one in maybe 20 years.
Anyway, it was really uncomfortable. I left as soon as I'd finished my beer.
It's not really the done thing is it, to put on a porno, with mates around? What was the intention, I get horny and then what?

I have known a lot of guys who watch porn with their mates: they either all just jerk off or just watch. I know that some guys out it on to test the waters with both sexes. Big tough rugby players can be gay or bi. I wouldn't read too much into it. If it happens to come up in conversation ask him about it. It really does depend on what it is though. Like if it was something funny like some kind of porn olympics with the girls doing different games or something... That I've seen people put on with a bunch of people crowded around a bong on a coffee table. There were girls there too though... But even if there wasn't, I guess something funny like that wouldn't be as bad. If your mind drifts to your buddy when you get a boner then that's a different issue.

Been there done that in the middle of someone's office at a place of business. He was the customer, so I politely watched and agreed it was a good flick. I was fairly uncomfortable, mostly, because this was happening at a place of business, where his staff could have walked in. The man is publicly as homophobic as any one I know, so I have to presume he is comfortable sharing his favorite flicks and nothing more. I have, since, sent him videos I thought we to his taste.

That broke the rules for sure. For a guy to watch porn with another guy there is a minimum 4 guy requirement so that it is kind of like a bachelor party. You should sit spread out across the room, drink beer, make funny comments about what is happening in the porno and cheer. 2 guys together watching a porno together is definitely not acceptable in the straight guy world. You did the right thing in leaving quickly.

I have to apologise for laughing at the original post, but sometimes the best comedy comes from the misfortune of others. I've never watched a porno with just me & another dude, tho a friend and I had set up a porn site... or rather we paid for a template & got scammed, but then that's the kind of stupid thing you do when you're younger & try to make a quick buck. We didn't watch any videos though. Anyway, it could be he was trying to test the water or could be he thought he was being cool or something.
