I travel for work and it's not the flights that I mind, but the people who are unprepared. They try to bring on their entire waredrobe in one small carry on and have all of their large bottles of lotions, shampoos, etc. and then argue with tsa about it.
I have to agree with skanderberg about people being unprepared. even going through the premier check in lines, where you would expect to find people used to traveling, there are still people who don't have laptops out, don't remove their shoes or jackets, put their ID's away before they should, etc. And a few other s have made comments I agree with as well. the long lines, the crowded planes, the fact that more and more airlines don't even serve sodas for free anymore. Just kinda makes it a pain. the actual take off, landing and flight itself don't really affect me as I stated earlier. and in all the flights I have made, there have been very few really bad ones in terms of turbulence or really bad take offs or landings. Crying babies, however.....
ummm I would be one of the unprepared ones, my mind is too busy freaking out about flying to consider anything else!
I love flying, especially the take off. I wish I could be flying the jet when that big acceleration starts. It reminds me of sex, that huge rush that leads up to orgasm.
The only problem I have is that I am slightly claustrophobic. I am ok as long as the plane is moving. When I travel I like to check all of my bags so I don't have to carry anything with me. The part where I get into trouble is when it is time to get off the plane and I can't move until the people in front of me get their bags from their overhead compartments. I just sit quietly and think of my happy place.
I love flying although last time flying back from Florida on my own we hit a storm for 45 mins which was terrifying. Flown through storms before but nothing like this. The pilot apologies as said there was nothing he could do as we were surrounded by them and just had to ride it out. I swear the plane got his once as it suddenly lurched and dropped a bit. Haven't flown since but that's only because I've not been anywhere to fly. Going back in February and have to admit I am a little bit nervous this time where as normally I look forward to flying.
The more turbulence and rougher landing the better. The less screaming kids and annoying people who think it's their human right to push their seat back, even better. Although if I could beat them up it would be even better...
I have a deep unreasonable fear of heights and get motion sickness. I like flying in that I like the idea, and I love traveling. But, the reality leaves me alternatingly chewing my nails to bits or trying not to vomit on my neighbor. Interestingly enough, small prop planes don't scare me nearly as much, most likely because I know people who fly so when I've gone up in them it has been with someone I know at the controls.
Love to fly, that's why I joined the Air Force. Was in SAC on B-52's.
Love, love, love it. Read my stories! Mile high club - so over-rated!
Being claustrophobic and on a small plane = fainting. Quite embarrassing
I love to fly... Just don't do it often enough!!!.......
I love it! When there's just enough turbulence to make my stomach drop I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster! However, if there's too much... THEN I get nervous and start gripping the armrests like a crazy person. I always start thinking of the show Lost when that happens!
Love flying, had to endure a 13 hour flight once which wasn't too fun since it was my first time on a plane... I can't wait for another opportunity :P

I'm indifferent. It's a means to an end. It's not something I dread and it's not something I look forward to. It just gets me where I need to go. With that being said, I'm not much of a fan of long flights.

Flying I do love it. My uncle own his own Piper Cub when I was a kid flew with him all the time. Two or three times a week, got the flying bug from that. I started taking lessons in the navy in a Cessna 140. I soloed in 1967 remember the day like it was yesterday. I have over 4000 hrs and still get a rush when the wheels come off the ground.
Love flying also love sky diving
Having a fear of highs, dose cause a discomfort ,when looking out a port hole at some where around 30,000to maybe 50,000 ft.... gotta agree with RAMROD. it sure beats walking..
I didn't care for flying the first time I flew, but I have come to enjoy it. I especially like taking off, when they open up the throttles and you get pushed back into seat it feels great!
It used to be glamorous for me -- business class on Asian airlines, five star routes, exotic destinations, etc. Now that it's economy in the US, it's a lot more pedestrian. But I do enjoy the thrill of getting off the plane in a new place, and thinking about all the possibilities on offer.
I love it....just as well seeing as I am a pilot!
No problem with flying but hate that some trips take so long.

Art can never exist without naked beauty displayed. I enjoy flying, prefer smaller planes versus the larger ones. I must confess I am not a member of the mile high club.
I've never flown, expect when stoned, but I've always enjoyed the feeling of floating in dreams (this is when I'm not stoned btw) so I'd love to do it sometime. Huh, what am I saying? I'll be doing it in a couple of years, everything going well!
