It has been out a while, but I've just got round to watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" (yes that's the spelling in the movie) on my new jumbovision tv .

It's based on a true story about a guy who went from living on the streets with his son, to...oh, wont spoil it...

Excellent acting by Will Smith, his best role to date. I highly recommend it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454921/

Have you seen any good movies lately?

Seen the movie too, Lush and I LOVED it!!
♥ Listen, touch, and look around in the air and on the ground. If you watch all nature's things, you might just see a fairy's wings. ♥

Yes, that is a very good movie! Did you know that the boy in the movie is actually Will Smith's real life son?

I haven't seen any new ones lately, which is odd because I am usually the first one in line at the movie store!

I will say that if you have not watched The Notebook, then you really need to check it out.... guys it is a chick flick but it is really good. I could seriously watch it a million times!

Also, my sister told me that she watched 28 Weeks Later on her computer today. She said she found the entire movie on youtube.

Thanks fystee - I'll take a look at those 2 next time I'm in the video store. I really can't watch a movie 2 inches by 2 inches wide on youtube, it would give me eye strain

Oh, the other one I watched recently was the Bond flick, Casino Royale - another one for the recommended pile.

Don't worry Lush, I feel the same way....watching a movie on my computer screen would either drive me to blindness or put me to sleep....lol

Rocco doesn't watch Chick Flicks or anything done by Sandra Bullock, either. Sorry.
I loved Casino Royale and yet it was the only DVD I couldn't copy. I mean, if I was going to copy such a thing, which is illegal, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to.
I'd recommend "Live Free Or Die Hard" and "Bourne Ultimatum". Nonstop suspense and action. Try one of those in your new cinema, Lush, and crank it up.

Just saw "The Bucket List" tonight. I really enjoyed it. It was funny and poignant and had enough of a message without being overly mushy.
I always enjoy Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

That's on my list too tech - I can't see a movie with both of those guys in going too far wrong, they wouldn't agree to any old dross script.

Not heard of the "bank job", sounds like a guy's flick about armed robbery, or have I got the wrong impression?

Is that the one with the women in it? Queen Latifa and can't remember the older ladies name....

The International was pretty good, with Clive Owen. It's suspenseful; don't expect a lot of action.

I just watched Lesbian Vampire Killers and liked it. Good spoof of vampire flicks, with a tight script.

Defiance, Daniel Craig, based on a true story.

I wouldn't recommend 2012 to anyone, unless they like thick slices of ham with their movie Even Cusack couldn't save it.
