No, I find the work I do to be meaningful, important, and satisfying. It’s not a cakewalk but I take solace in the fact that is a job that needs to be done by someone and that most people couldn’t perform it or, if they can, probably wouldn’t.
(Without going into specifics, I’m in regulatory enforcement: safety and industry rules/standards. It’s basically like being a work-place referee.)
Some days, I do hate some of the people though.
