Yep! At 35 or so I learned that the ONLY cure for hangovers was to not get drunk in the first place.
It's worked for me for 36 years now and I have just as much fun, actually more, than when I did get drunk. I get high on my fantasies which play in my head like movies all the time and booze deadens that, puts a curtain up that's hard to see through. I live in a very rich world.
Just don't get drunk in the first place. I don't see the point in getting drunk. I either stop or slow down when I get that nice buz going. I enjoy remembering how I spent the previous night and being able to keep my wits about me. Moderation is key and few people enjoy being around a drunk person.
