I like lots of craft brews really.... there just seemed to be a lot of these at one of the parties I was at last weekend.

My favorite is my own homebrew. I brew several different styles of ale including Irish Red, Robust Porter, Fat Tire Clone and my specialty Green Chile Beer.

But my favorite commercial brew is Guinness. My bucket list includes tipping a pint in a Dublin pub. But unless a kindly older redheaded Irish lady wishes to send me the air fare and show me the pleasures of the Emerald Isles, well ....... I may very well go to my grave highly disappointed.

For lager, I'd go with Warsteiner. German pilsners rule.

For weissbeer, Paulaner Weiss or Franziskaner.

For ale, T.E.A. by Hogsback Brewery.

Stout, I like the Black Pearl stout or samuel smith's oatmeal stout.

for me it varies depending on what kind of beer I feel like drinking. There is a local brewery not far from my house that makes one of my favorites though.

I'm not much of a beer drinker (prefer wine or scotch when I need a buzz) but I do find Stella Artois nice (first had it in Leuven, Belgium where it originated). My favorite glass of beer, though, was many years ago (like 18 or so) in China. We ate at this restaurant in Xian that had a small brewery on site. We had Mongolian hot pot and it included a pint of the house beer, which I quite enjoyed.

American Beer is watered down uber crap. From Bud, to Miller, and everything in between.

Which country has the best?

Belgium in my opinion. Packs a punch, takes great.

Best kind? Toughie. I've had the Delirium Tremens in Brussels at the actual bar which shares its name. And yes, I stole one of those kick ass beer glasses as well. And a few others. Voted best beer in the world in 2007.
