Literally - when meant figuratively. Mostly said by teens. Drives me nuts. "Omg I literally died when she said that to me!" Wow, did you? You're doing pretty good then for a dead person since you're here talking to me
Also, improper grammar. That could be a loooong post lol, but a big example? "That don't matter." That may seem small, but I fucking hate it lol, I just want to scream "Doesn't! That doesn't matter! Not don't!"

Reminds me of an episode of How I Met Your Mother when Ted keeps pointing that out.

My current pet peeve is when people, especially my boss says "it is what it is". It's such a cop out. When he says that he's saying "yeah it sucks and there is nothing I'm going to do about it."

I am also one rubbed the wrong way by poor grammar.

Oh! And "I could care less" instead of "I couldn't care less".

Ok.... I'm done.

Supposubly instead of Supposedly
A determined person with perseverance can overcome many obstacles. They can, many times, perform better than those who are more intelligent, stronger and with better finances by determination and perseverance

"Maam, can I see your license and registration?"
"I liked your hair better straight"
"When are you guys getting married?"
"Oh shit! I came!"
"Have a nice day!"

So true! Oh this did make me giggle!

"Your toes are weird looking wouldn't you rather just have hooves?"

I've been told it's really annoying to say that to strangers

Yesterday I had to listen to this:
"Do you really want your book back?"

"I'm sorry" before stating an opinion.. FFS don't be sorry you believe something

"To be honest " / "Honestly " before the sentence. I always start doubting what they have to say if they feel a need to use it.

This is not a particular word, but when did news reporters start to never be sure of anything. It is always could, would, might, etc

Not that I believe the news anymore, especially the big 3 CBS, ABC, NBC but you would think that if they are reporting it, then they should at least believe it is a fact and not so damn indefinite.

"I'll be there at ___ " and they come an hour late.

"Is your hair real?" and they usually invade my personal space by touching it, without asking.

" No offence but.." and they say something offensive.

"Why do you read so much?"

Or my personal favourite: "You'd look so hot if you'd just straighten your hair, just imagine how long it would actually be"

Since I hear it from my teenage daughter repeatedly, "I know." Anyone want to tell me when they quit knowing everything?

It really irks me when people confuse 'then' and 'than'.

Also: 'have you ever thought about losing some weight, I bet you'd be quite pretty if you did?' Erm, if I wanted to lose weight I would and cheers for getting an insult in there too. It annoys me even more when they prod my tummy as well but I don't like space invaders at the best of times.
If you like first time, bisexual or teen then please read this and help make it famous!

Here in the UK when a waiter or waitress puts a plate infront of you you get "There you go"

"Moving forward." A pointless filler by pollies and business 'leaders' commenting on the future. Utterly rampant now.

"It's common sense". Read, I haven't the brain power or couldn't be bothered to work out the actually reason.

there'd me many more

"Not bad"

How's the food? "Not bad."
How are you? "Not bad."
How was the trip? "Not bad."
How's the girl? "Not bad."

Seriously? Hm?

"Oh that works in theory but not in practice"

"You gotta learn to compromise"

"I don't read"

"Chill"

"You're too serious"
