Don't all cheer at once...I can still hear you know...

To make a long story relatively short, I found out recently that the Exakta name is a "live" registered trademark of Jos. Schneider Optische Werke in West Germany. I mentioned it to Nicola, and she recommended I change it...

And, I've learned never to argue with Nicola...

I mentioned it to my girlfriend Nancy, and she recommended the name DirtyMartini...probably because she likes martinis and started me drinking them too. I decided it was a good choice, just a hint of "dirtiness" without being too dirty...

Besides, I've learned never to argue with Nancy...

So...the "writer formerly known as Exakta66" is now DirtyMartini...

Same old stories...only the names have been changed to protect, um, whatever...

Cheers,
Alan.

I supposed Gary and Brian are just left by the wayside...
Fantasy: imagination unrestrained by reality; fulfilling a need not gratified in the real world
I'm pretty sure my neighbour heard that unexplained laughter ha ha!
1. Great learned lesson in not arguing with women. Love them, don't argue with them, unless they are Sarah Palin.

2. Why not DirtyAlan, make your own cocktale. (misspelled on purpose)

Rock on brother!!

Now, how did you find this out Exa ... I mean Dirty ....

I never thought to look up registered trademark names, especially world-wide (for sure, nationally, for a company - but not for a nickname/user name).

A huge can of IP and trademark worms .....

It was something I had never considered when I started writing, but after a while the thought crossed my mind...
I got a story accepted in an "online magazine" or e-zine recently, and they asked for a pen name and bio...so, I went to the US Patent and Trademark Office website and did a search...
I decided it's best not to use a "live" registered trademark to post stories under in the future...

On October 31st 7 after the crops new york escort were all gathered new york asian escort and stored for the long winter, the cooking fires in the homes would be put out. The Druids, the Celtic new york escorts priests, would meet at the top of the hill in the dark oak forest[oak trees were thought to be sacred. The Druids would light new fires, and then offered some crops and animals which they new york asian escorts killed to their God. As they danced around the fires, the season of the sun passed and the season of darkness would begin.
