I just wished I looked like my avatar! Lol.

You and I both. ;)
I actually think this forum is stupid, sorry but its how i think.

I am my avatar and my pics are me but if people want to think i'm a liar then don't add me as a friend, the fact of the matter is i know i am telling the truth.

And if women want to hide behind a picture online then fucking let them, that is what lush is about for some people. it is their escape, their little bubble of happiness away from their real world.

And to be honest your probably just pissed off at these women because they rejected your ugly ass so i think you should shut up and let people have their fun. Its the internet for god sake not a dating site!

I agree with you, its internet and so many people don't want to reveal a lot about themselves. And no body is forcing these people to be your friends. First they send you a friend request, you accept it and then they start talking shit and asking you for nude pics and talking dirty all the time, and when you don't response to them they call you fake. This is not right at all. I don't stand suck kind of people, just block them.
It's not a dating site, everyone is free to share their thoughts but they can't ask someone to share their pics just because they want to jerk off.
And why can't people be decent. Internet doesn't mean you just have to talk shit. It's an adult site for entertainment purpose and show the talent of writing. We are here to read, write and a little bit more but that doesn't include bothering someone for pics or reveal their real name/address etc. GROW UP GUYS!
Be a man to treat me like a princess and fuck me like a whore.
I have been very lucky as I have met some great people on Lush so far, who have inspired and helped me enormously. But being on the web, for more years then I care to remember, it always bothers me just how serious ppl can become.

The medium, by its nature, is annominous, I'm sure if you could see me now lying in my bed under a pink duvet wearing an old red t-shirt and a lace thong most would run for the hills with horror!

I see it as enabling. If a lady or gent wish to hide their offsite self why does that have to be a bad thing? We don't all live perfect lives, in fact I would hazzard a guess that's pretty rare, so for self preservation its good to keep something back.

A little mystery is fun ;)

If a friend/s (you know who you are lol) takes the time and effort to really get to know the person behind the pictures, then they are worth their weight in gold. I don't trust easily anymore as things have been, well, difficult for me.

I joined Lush to not only read horny stories and hopefully have my sorry attempts read as well, but also to learn and improve. The lovely people I have met so far are the sweet icing on a very rich cake.

GROW UP GUYS! Jerk off!
Did you read the thread?
Did you read the op?
The guy was real, it was the woman that was fake!
Pure sexist claptrap.

Why bother to post a comment if you find this thread stupid?
Your comment shows that you too haven't read through the thread. You've simply hit the keyboard without engaging the grey matter. Jumping on a sexist bandwagon assuming the guy is to blame! Ridiculous.

It's not the avatar, it's the personal photo's in the profile and the ones sent with a pm that are supposed to be of the sender.
I just wished I looked like my avatar! Lol.

It's NOT YOU!!!!!!

I was starting to think about becoming . . . never mind, not now, my heart is . . . is . . .

I'll go and live with what could have been sniff, sniff (to think I was willing to open the door

BTW Nobody please correct the use of the s in practised, it's correct!

Right - it's the British way of spelling based upon the Norman or Anglo-French spellings.

Which is interesting as there are centuries of of hate and distrust/rivalry between the Brits and the French.

Why would the Brits continue to use the way the French spell?

Ay kun why and ay am not tell'n.
Also I'm not my avatar either (actually I'm the guy facing the soda jerk) - and if you read my profile it'll tell you I'm a man and that's spelled m - a - n.

I love reading these forums (and contributing) because it gives me a lot of fodder for my screenplays - this one brings up the stalker from the forum theme - which one did it? Was it dpw, Kasey, BraveBitch, DublinGirl? or is it someone who we haven't meet yet? And of course - who got done!?

Laaaaaaaaa - and on that note Good day to you all

I posted because i think its stupid and i have the right to say what i think, just like you have the right to post your response.

By the way though next time you want to accuse me of being sexist, how about you send it to me and not hide behind a forum post.....

There you go again! Hit that keyboard, your brain will no doubt catch up in a few years!
One doesn't HIDE behind a forum post, it's public. If I was to hide I would send a pm.
If and when you read the thread you will perhaps understand why I think you made a sexist remark, then again perhaps you won't.

Sorry, as you can see I'm nowhere near as sexy as Roman.

Mods, I request to delete this thread.

To all those who are kidding "I am not my avatar" - I am repeating this for the millionth times and it was clearly stated in the op, I was not talking about random avatars, I was talking about those who use amateur pics and telling people here it's their own pics while they're not.

I know plenty who use their real pics here tho.
I'm not going to claim this is so for the op, but when I've seen these threads before, it's usually started by a guy who seems terrified that he might just end up cybering another guy who is pretending to be a woman.

Even this I find rather sad. What you (or rather they) are sharing is a fantasy. A depiction of what some part of themselves wants to be. If, in my five years here, I had seen a pattern of guys suckering in other guys and then outting them, I might be more sympathetic, but all I see here is paranoia that maybe the person telling someone that they want them to do this or that, isn't really what they claim.

So, what if they are not? There is no disease to catch. There is no nasty surprise when they drop their undies. They get off, the one who is being 'duped' gets off. Both have their fantasy dreams stroked and had some fun.

So what if there was a connection. If you're connecting, what does it matter what that person looks like, how old they are or even if they are the gender they claim?

The only time I see an issue is if you plan on meeting. Then, and only then would I consider it reprehensible to mis-represent ones self.

This discussion angers people because we are all exposing some aspect of ourselves that could not be exposed anywhere else. So, why is it okay for a guy to hide from his wife, his kids, his job, what he is doing but not for the people he is doing it with?

And I really don't care if they are claiming to be real or not. That claim is part of the fantasy. Without it, maybe they cannot be the person they so desperately want to be? That's as valid a fantasy as any I have...
It all boils down to common sense and logic. For some reason these are always forgotten about on sites where people interact.
Well even i think this thread is pointless and just sour grapes...and im a guy

Whoa, whoa... whoa. This coming from someone that CLEARLY stole my avatar picture!!! I'm appalled! How DARE YOU! LOL! I'm kidding. I found my avi on a search for "red lips" on google. I haven't been on Lush in eons. I'll probably change it soon.

This is my opinion: I don't get why people actually are getting butt hurt over someone duping them over the internet over a photo. For the love of goodness... especially on a website like this.. hell, you are just asking for it if you don't go into it expecting that for a lot of people this place is "fantasy" and not anything they wish to bring into their offline lives. So they aren't trying to use their real photos. Surprise fucking surprise. I mean use some common sense for goodness sakes and stop whining over an internet trick, pun intended. Damn if I'm going to get butt hurt over someone perpetrating a photo online on Lush of all places. I don't want to date you, marry you, or fuck you for real. I'm just having fun online and I really couldn't give less than a damn about what someone really looks like on Lush. Someone really creating a PSA thread about this bullshit is hilarious to me. If you are that damn scared of someone using a fake photo online in a place like Lush then perhaps you need to hit an ACTUAL online dating service that you pay for where background checks are required. Because this is not a dating website and the overwhelming majority of shit posted here is fantasy. Duh.

Dude, stop worrying about who is using fake this and that...why do you care? Are you about to marry and have children with one of these people? Use common sense. You know damn well people sometimes people are going to lie online. Hell, probably half the people that you do talk to that use their real photos have told you some damn lies about their life in one form or another. People do it. Get over it. It's the internet.

You know sometimes people work themselves up about thee DUMBEST bullshit... EVER.

If I open this thread I would be begging the mods to delete it as well....

LOL!

And there you go again with your arrogance. If you have a right to post what they want, so do they. So quit being so butthurt and get over it. It's a comment on a forum, not a d*ck. Don't take it so hard.

If you are posting then at least read the thread. I'm not going to keep quiet when women jump on the "it must be the guys fault" bandwagon. If you are then that's your right but don't expect me to.

Okay you need to calm the hell down now. Never did I say it was his fault so I kindly ask you take that comment back. And secondly I can read and I did read this thread and I wrote what I thought was a needed response, and like most men in the world you have decided to blow it way out of peroration and start accusing me of things I am not doing.

If you want to respond to this then fine but I am done reading what you have to say sorry.

And to Muffinman who posted this forum topic I am sorry its become such a heated forum, I have spoken with you privately and I hope you can forgive me if I insulted you in anyway.
