Not porn..... It's sexy and sensual and exciting. I feel it's more erotic than pornographic. This is a fantasy place where I can read and learn about others and their interests.

it is certainly not a hardcore site but could easily be classified as a soft porn site. There are plenty of breasts and penises to look at here but the site is primarily a site for erotic stories, many of which are excellent. There are some excellent writers here including TraceyAmes, Milik_Redman and Sandy2Moon. Sprite is also a good writer too. If you look for good writers, you will always get a good story to read.

I consider Lush as a sensual site for discriminating readers.

Call me old fashioned, naive, or whatever (as long as you don't call me Shirley LOL) but I see porn as visual. To me this is erotica, but I have been known to be wrong. I guess I see Lush as porn for the brain that just happens to stimulate the body, at least we authors hope it stimulates a response.
...I thought that maybe a new life, a different life, wouldn’t be so bad. But where the hell did I put the receipt, and could you return something that was over twenty years old? Where do you go to get a new life when your old one has you so puzzled you don’t know how to fix it? Wish I knew.

The advertisements and wall posts do get a little raunchy, but the writing is what distinguishes this site from all others. When you realize that writing and reading erotica is the main function and feature of Lush, you have to conclude that it is not a porn site, at least not in the traditional sense of the word.

Seems to me that Porn can be of either the visual which you guys love or of the written which we girls are more attracted to.

Both are a forms of Erotica and this site has plenty of that.

If we are just a site for the sharing of the Erotic or a real and true Porn site. Does it matter?

Some of our images and writings sure get me steaming and is that not the purpose of Porn?

I think it is a unique hybrid of naughtiness, sweetness, talent and more naughtiness.

I just don't care if it is a porn site or not I enjoy reading stories here more than in any sites!

Definitely, definitely, definitely NOT! And that has nothing to do with 'current difficulties'.

One always needs to make the distinction (in one's head and in one's conversation) between 'porn' - salacious and tastleless commercialisation of sexual matter - and 'erotica' - graphic artistic interpretation, in pictures or words - of sexual activity between consenting individuals.

Everything - everything - that I've found on Lush leads me to believe that this site falls into the latter catergory. I rest my case.

Well, I can say I write erotic stories.

Whether or not that's porn is in the eye of the reader.

Erotica site, mainly. But also social networking for the types that like it sexy.

Many would call that porn. Of the mind, perhaps. But still porn.

So, my answer is yes.

You certainly wouldn't be going to Lush for anything else.

To me Lush is an "Adult site" for authors, readers, aficionados, and lovers of sex and sexual subject matter. Sex or sexual content is NOT always X-rated or automatically porn ~ BUT "some" is. I am glad there IS a place that supports authors and does not limit that aspect. It is a place for adults, with an adult content, no PG-13, no 'must keep it under blah-blah rating', but a site meant for the literate, mature audience and adult conversations including sexual matters and the like thereof with the options of a social network setting. One can write or read stories only or socialize only, do forums only, or do all of the above. I like the word "Adult" ~ because to me that covers the spectrum in meaning that it CAN contain pornographic material OR it can contain creative artistic endeavors OF "adult" material, as created by the members.

Certainly. Many may draw a line between erotica and porn, but it's a very thin line and almost always a very blurry one. Obviously the advertisements, imagery, most of the stories and commentary on Lush are pornographic. Even with "erotica," the draw is the carnality, not the use of metaphor, plot, character development or other elements that are characteristic or definitive of literature or fiction.

No, I don't think you can call Lush a porn site.

There might be pornographic content within it, but it's primary function is an erotic story site.

Porn is A term used all too loosely. People have been arguing it's definition for A long time. And what should be considered as such. Some members here at lush do post images that may be considered as porn. However that does not define this site as A porn site. The site is advertised as adult erotica. And that is the best definition for what is found here. However like anything else you will always find someone who wants to argue about it.zfBeN3MsssSMHwMO The only response I can think of for those people is
