How did you learn about how exactly to have sex? In childhood every one has different means for their first leason about sex. What was yours? Was it via friends or porn videos or pictures or the real thing, as in, had it practiced on you even before you knew how to do it?
Completely self taught and sadly lacking in depth until I bought a computer 8 years ago.
I got an unbeliveable and not too clear version from others my age. Shortly after that I got the accurate and appropriate information from my mother.
I learned the science of it early. The Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt used to house a pretty detailed reproduction exhibit. If you were quiet and stood there long enough, the big kids (teenagers) would stop and just tell all of their business. Adults would even get loose lipped. Between their stories and the local art museums, I actually thought I knew something.
First hand experience. Mixing with a lot of like minded kids. Trial and error. A few books on the female cycle - rhythm method.
Our school nurse helped with education in contraception and importance of cleanliness and STI etc. Lots of practice to make perfect
my school-friend told me while we were going to swimming lessons on the school bus. i was so stunned. i could not imagine my parents doing it. still can't. don't really want to. CHANGE THE SUBJECT!!!! ah, chainsmokers. i'll live.
like most kids, through friends, tv and movies. i later moved on to the local library. started checking out books about sex from the young adult section in middle school. i graduated to cosmopolitan my sophomore year of high school and felt sophisticated (lol!). i'm honestly glad the internet wasn't around then - i would have been traumatized.
There was no sex education at home or school when I was a kid, parents didnt talk about that and in school it was nothing but Dont do that, its just evil and wrong until your married. All we had were all the lies and bullshit that others were bragging about. It was all about just trial and error
I learned a little here and a little there. Finally one day I went to a library and took out a book about women popular then "Our Bodies, Ourselves." Then followed that up with a lot more reading and a gf who wanted to show me what it was about. She was very sweet about it.

My husband taught me everything I knew until I started dating black guys after my 50th birthday. My mother was a Mormon and she didn't talk about sex except to say it was bad but I would have to do when I got married. Well the first time my husband fucked me on our wedding night I knew she lied.
