1972 kingswood station wagon
Never actually owned a car yet.
The first car i drove around in was loaned to me by my Mum. It was a 2003 Honda Civic. I am now zipping around in a BMW 3-Series, but I don't own that either.
1995 Mazda (branded Eunos though) Astina.
A 1967 Fiat 124 station wagon. I bought it from the married woman (9 years older than me) who so graciously relieved me of my virginity. I have since come to have a different view of adultery, but at 17, who has those qualms? Not me.
I LOVED that car, had it for a few years, but then it somehow caught fire and burned down in front of a friend's house on Thanksgiving. Odd - I didn't have any enemies, so I could never figure out what happened - maybe an electrical short. By then, my lover and her husband had moved to Louisiana, and the fire could never turn those fondest of memories to ash.
My dad gave me a '94 Mitsubishi Expo when I was in high school, saying I needed the room for all my friends, but he actually owned it for insurance purposes. The first car I ever held the title in my name was a restored '69 'Vette which my dad also gave me for Christmas when I was 26. The first car I actually bought with my own money was a 2007 Honda CRV.
1961 HARLEY-DAVIDSON PANHEAD
ca. 1960//64 Rambler Beach Wagon
The first car I actually owned was a Holden. An Australian GM product.
Then I changed to Toyota Landcruiser. Now I own a Toyota Kluger (Hilander in the US)
a 1989 pontiac sunbird i got for my sixteenth birthday. i named it elmo for good luck; been naming my cars ever since?
1978 (or 9) Brown Mini 1000. My parents bought it for me when i was 17 living in the UK by myself to keep me safe. Ha ha, i think i got 7 people in it once to get home from the pub. Totally irresponsible then.
My first car was an old beat-up Triumph Spitfire when I was in high school. Small, tiny engine, but very fast. Primer spots everywhere from body work - my Dad and I were always working on it. My English teacher, when she found out it was mine, said she always felt sorry for it while walking by. I of course thought it was the coolest car ever. Still do.
