I've kind of always been intrigued by the intricacies of everyone's own unique way of doing what could be considered a mundane act. So, answer what the topic header asks. And no, it's not a feet fetish thing either.
I for one go: right sock, right shoe, left sock, left shoe & then stand up to tie them both.

It's hard to say. I don't wear shoes in the house but do wear socks. But it's not always true that it's sock, sock, shoe, shoe. Sometimes I do it sock, shoe, sock shoe. I can be pretty anal about some things, putting on socks & shoes isn't one of them. But I do know that others only do it one of the two ways.
Socks before shoes. Always.
My shoes are on a step in the garage where I usually go out so socks go on first in the house, no particular order, then shoes in the garage, also no particular order.
