“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”

– Yoda
snakes, spiders, bugs. being dumped by someone. ..wanting to know why, what did I do wrong.
Missing my favorite breakfast at the Augustine in the morning...
I like the way you make me feel even when I'm nowhere near...
I'm genuinely afraid of two things.

1. Darkness. However, it's only when I'm not with my SO. If I'm alone, or even with anyone other than SO, I have to have a source of light at night. My mind does terrible things and starts spiraling into anxiety. BUT if SO is around, I can be in complete darkness and be at peace. It's nice... It's never been like that with anyone else I've been with.

2. Worms. I don't even know how to explain this. Worms have made me uncomfortable since I was a child, and it has progressively gotten worse as I've aged. I can't stand looking at them. They make me feel nauseous. The tv documentary series about parasitic worms will send me into a panic attack, thinking I have things crawling under my skin. It's so bad that if there is a piece of food that looks like a worm, I won't eat it. Please don't cut up spaghetti. sad

I really should probably talk to a therapist one day.
these days, I am terrified of loss of memory. Forgetting things like birthdays, or the names of loved ones who have passed away. I recently had a small tumor removed, and I find myself stopping and having to really think to remember some peoples' names, or what an old friend I haven't seen in a while looks like. It's terrifying to contemplate that issue getting any worse!
Pain and negative emotions/sensations/emotional, mental, and physical states. I despise all of that. I love feeling excellent and elevated at all times, and I really work hard to maintain this mental state at all times. It has led to lucid dreaming, and also my bodybuilding/healthy nutrition fuels my mental state tremendously.

I'm also afraid of the negative effects of aging, and I fight this as hard as I possibly can by making only optimal decisions in my life, as often as I can. I plan on taking advantage of as many technological innovations related to battling this, and also plan on coming up with good solutions of my own.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Hannah.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Alzheimer's/dementia, after watching my father descend into it in his later years. I'm less afraid of dying now than of putting my family through that and having them carry those memories of me. Also heights (although only on man-made structures, oddly, not on mountains and canyons) and also certain spiders; yuck, we have brown recluses here, and they're just too sneaky/creepy.

failure , it just scares the hell out of me right now
Thunder & lighting during storms and power outages
Spiders do give me the creeps after a rather nasty run in with a Brown Recluse once

But only in losing control can you truly experience the divine euphoria of orgasmic pleasure. ;)

An elderly woman was stopped for speeding on an interstate by a Texas State Trooper and when he approached the car and asked for her driver's license and registration she mentioned that she had a 357 magnum in the glove compartment.

He said that's ok ma'am but please leave it in there. She then mentioned her Glock 9mm in the console.

He said that's ok ma'am but please leave it in there. She then mentioned the shotgun under the blanket in the back seat.

He stuttered for a moment and then said ok but let's just leave it right there. Then she mentioned the AR-15 in the trunk in the trunk with 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

His jaw dropped and he said Ma'am what are you afraid of.....

Her answer was..... "NOT A DAMNED THING".

Fear is relative.

We don't buy insurance because we are AFRAID of loss of valuables or damage to ourselves or our possessions but to cover ourselves in an eventuality.

We don't keep ourselves alert when we drive because of FEAR of an accident but to be prudent so as to avoid damage to property, others or ourselves.

We don't keep guns because we are afraid but to protect ourselves and others in the even that we might need to.

Do I fear anything? NO! Do I do everything I can to prevent bad things happening and try to insure myself and my property in the case something bad does happen? YES

If you truly believe you didn’t do anything wrong then the hell with them it’s their lose!
After reading all these posts I’m happy to say I’m not really afraid of anything.

Life has at times been really rough but I learn something from all my experiences and I tend to let things go fairly easily. It may hurt but there are better things to come.

“If you can’t do anything about it, don’t worry about it”

“You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have”
I know it sounds completely ridiculous but I'm scared of bicycles
Being in a parking lot on my own after dark
