To Kill a Mockingbird
It's a Wonderful Life
The Shawshank Redemption
One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Green Mile
The Lion King
Blade
Love & Basketball
I Think I Love My Wife
Alexander
I hate threads like this because my favorites tend to vary with time and mood. Generally, though, the top 5 looks something like:
Casablanca
Star Wars (aka Star Wars, Episode IV - A New Hope)
Monty Python's The Life of Brian (but sometimes I would substitute Holy Grail)
The Princess Bride
Alien
But there are good many others that could go on there, including the first Burton Batman, the first and third Indy Jones, several Bond movies, a couple Dracula adaptations, some of Woody Allen's better stuff, and so on.
Forgot Assasination of Jesse James, Chelsea Girls and Animal Kingdom, great movies.
