Clowns - Not so much afraid anymore, but I still don't like them.
The dark - I still don't like sleeping alone in the dark. I sleep with the TV on.
Old people - I've gotten past this.

Loud noises, balloons popping, firecrackers, etc. Thunderstorms can induce panic attacks.
Fire drills, I used to cry during the fire drill when I lived in Arizona because the alarms were so loud and scary

I have always had a fear of being on a high place and looking up.....makes me feel like I may lose my balance and fall off to my death.....strangely, that feeling even happens when I am in a skyscraper and walk to the window and look up even higher. UGH!
Hell (raised Southern Baptist)
Not so much scared of but disgusted by spiders.
spiders and heights are the major ones
Clowns scared me then and they scare me now. No way, I can't handle them. When they appear on telly I have to look away.
Not a fear from when I was a kid, but later on, around age 18, I developed anxiety disorder, and had panic attacks whenever I found myself in a situation I couldn't get out of. Everywhere I went, I scoped out escape routes. It got so bad that eventually, I couldn't go more than a few yards inside of a big store or mall. I couldn't board a plane, because when they closed the hatch, I knew I was trapped and couldn't escape, so that would give me a full-blown panic attack too. At the worst point, I couldn't even eat in restaurants, and had difficulty swallowing food because I might choke and cause a scene from which I couldn't easily escape. Fortunately, I went into therapy, and after a couple years I overcame the affliction, but it was a horrible period in my life.
I've also recently developed a fear of chemicals and pesticides after learning I was deathly allergic to a lot of pesticides a couple of years ago. I wound up in the hospital, in pulmonary arrest when I was exposed to chemicals our contractors use to kill bees and other pest swarms in our rentals. So now I can't even go near the pesticide aisle in stores that sell them.
