Yes, if this is true, it's a damned shame. It's also a damned shame it's been going on with various presidents, vice presidents, members of congress, governors, lt. governors, etc., etc., etc. from the day this country was founded.

Then a movement such as #MeToo comes along and addresses legitimate wrongs. When they win the greedy and their greedy attorneys pile on damaging the movement; hurting legitimate claims. Unfortunately, this, too, has always been the case with movement such as these.

And, it is, a damned shame all the way around.

as always, there are men who treat women as tools. men who treat what is done too women as a way to push their particular agenda/viewpoint. men who don't give a damn about what happens to women until they find a way to turn it into something that has nothing to do with sexual assault. if you'd spoken up against all the allegations and behavior exhibited by Trump, i'd have taken this as sincere statement. since you haven't, i take it as pure hypocrisy and bullshit.

funny how never matters to some people until they find a way to use it and suddenly it becomes a valuable commodity. it's nice to know that what is done to us has given you a platform from which to denegrate a political candidate. nice to know that our pain and suffering provides you with a useful tool.

btw, not that you care, but Oct 15th was the Me Too Movement's 3rd anniversary and, just because it's not in the headlines all the time, and just because you don't care enough to pay attention, doesn't mean it's not doing great things in offering survivors a variety of ways to cope and to heal. it's still pushing to end sexual violence. you'd know this if you simply googled it, but you really don't care enough to do that, do you. that's fine. there are plenty of people who do.

i think the OP's quote is legit even if she/he doesn't think so. Weinstein is the devil, but should that mean anyone accused of sexual harasment is hanged, drawn and quartered without some benefit of doubt?
