hand washing is a pain

has anyone tried using a lingerie wash bag for the washing machine?

if so are you pleased with the results?

any special instructions in usage?
Yes, I use one. No special directions for me. I put them all in and wash with all of my delicates. Like cashmere, silks, etc.
I have used a few different types of lingerie bags .... the one with the tie stringy thing was useless as it untied!

The zippered type of bag was better as it stayed shut. I have a couple of them and wash them without any other delicates, except for two small towels. It seems to work best otherwise, the zippered bag could damage other delicates. The other knits, sheers, etc are washed on their own. Two small loads seems to work best in my world.

thanks kathleen and van

was a bit leery trying them, but i will give it a shot now
when you staying with friends they are ideal,as you dont loose your things, and they dont have to touch your soiled clothes.....these are essential for delicates like ladies stockings ,if your not hand washing......
Just avoid laundry places haha!! Was helping someone and when she weighed her bag it spilt, lol her strings, laces, see-throughs, cashmere, naughties....all of it...I was grinning like an idiot hehe
I usually don't end up wearing my sexy items for very long, so they don't get dirty often. But when they do, I don't even use a lingerie bag. I just make an extra small load and run on delicate cycle. And never put these items in the dryer.
Van,

Thanks for the info. It's a little weird to me how interested I was in this topic.

Amber, I don't have as many lingerie pieces as you girls do. But thanks for the question. At least I know how to take care of what I have.
