And some of my best showjumping horses have been ex-racing horses... Horse Racing is definitely not inhumane, they have incredibly tight standards... well those who compete internationally.

I'm sure the horse is very pleased to be destroyed humanely!!! I've no doubt that the process is as 'humane' as possible, but my point is that the Grand National has horses jumping particularly high fences, which everyone knows will result in broken legs, all in the name of entertainment. I'm not, in point of fact, saying that all racing or showjumping is bad. I'm an equestrian, so I do not have an issue with it per se.

By the way, I lead a "pretty high life" myself, but I wouldn't expect to be put down if I broke a leg.

And, as they approach the last, it's .... all gone dark out there. When we left the action, it was LushPrincess storming away from Gailxxx in 2nd, with Reeb holding off Charley for 3rd. Further back, it was Katalyst, the fast charging Trinity, Katie1984, Cougartalk, Vampchick and Rileysmiley, all jockeying for position. It looks like we're going to have to wait for the official verdict to come in, folks.
