Love this one its done in a ring, a lil' healthier, the center is empty and filled with a fresh salad, I love italian thin crust with minimal, fresh ingredients like Rocket, garlic, cheese and olives.
Unless of course i'm hungover as fuck and then require dirty as fuck, deep dish goodness (with aside of poutine hahahaha).
So many great places to get Pizza in NY. One of my favorites when Im in NYC is Lombardi's. Its amazing. Right up there with what Ray's was before it became a tourist trap and eventually closed.
My own homemade stuffed crust pizza with mushrooms, peppers, onions, sausage, beef, olives, and three cheeses. I also make Hawaiian style with ham, pineapple, and mozzarella sometimes adding mushrooms and olives to it.
Try this...Bobali pizza crust spread with orange marmalade, cooked pears, crushed pecans and topped with Gorgonzola cheese. Mozzarella does the trick too if you don't like Gorgonzola.
Has to be a Chicago deep dish. Lou Malnatti's, Gino's, Eduardo's… Sure I like the thin crust, roll it up style, too, but if you've never tried an authentic Chicago style pizza, well, just do if you have a chance.
