There was research done and it showed that if a person was waiting to take the spot, the person leaving took noticeably longer to leave. Some of my friends surmise it is because they get a feeling of power and control over others by not leaving in a timely manner. And that is probably the one way they can get that 'power'.
I just say they are jerks. I park further out and walk in, better for my health and stress levels.

Sidewalk chicken: you are walking down the sidewalk, and two or three people are approaching from the opposite direction, two or three abreast, showing no signs of anyone moving over, such that you will have to step off the sidewalk to go around them. I will move to the edge of the sidewalk, but I refuse to leave it. At the last second, the person on the end will usually shrink inward, but not far enough, so they usually get bumped by me. SO annoying! When I am one of the two or three abreast, I never force the other person off the sidewalk.

Companies that decide to use the "│" symbol between their names, such as "Jack │Daniels LLP" I have to go through a bunch of steps to pull up and insert that symbol when I am working on a document. And it appears to be all the rage now. Ampersands were so much easier!

Being told how to do my job by the ambitious new hire, as I just lean back in the chair, head resting against my hand, and thinking, "Ok, Junior." But at least I let them continue on with their ego, waiting for the day when something is going to blow up in their face.
Also, a new one, from yesterday. A dying patient, with an order for Roxanol 20mg/cc every hour scheduled because they're on Hospice and close to dying. Here comes Junior, when I inform him of this in the morning and his jaw drops and states to me, "Oh, oh! I can't do that! I have a schedule I have to keep with my morning med pass!!!" I look at him like he's got spiders for hair and say, "That is your morning med pass, and you need to do it as ordered per the MD. I went in there every hour last night, and you need to do the same. She's dying, Junior." I come back in the next night, and there's a hard script laying there, where he called the MD and somehow got it changed to prn(as needed). All I could do was shake my head at the selfishness...someone close to passing, their family hoping for relief for the resident...and what does he do? Gets the order changed for his own convenience. I wanted to fall to my knees and scream. By the way...I continued going in every hour, and she passed away with me. A gentle mercy, since I actually cared about her and her family.

That the A key is right next to the cap lock key, so about 10% of the time I use an A, I end up typing in all caps for like three sentences.

Our drivers cop a huge fine for even having a mobile in their hand in a car. The police now have lots of new cameras and photograph you - then book you a milometer down the road. Guess who are the worst offenders?
Even if you pull over to answer the phone you have to get out of the car.
Its the ones who walk down the footpath and onto the road without looking away from their phone that I will run over one day. I have pulled a couple back from oblivion when they walked not only against the lights but head down straight into the path of a vehicle. Is Facebook that important? - obviously so for SO many.

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ... this was one of biggest contributors to my decision to retire from driving. I faced this four times a week (two round trips) through the Washington DC / Baltimore, Md. corridor.(expand some days from Richmond Va to Phila. Pa) I know that truckers are tempted to blow their air horn at such drivers, but I was afraid of startling them and causing an accident. I also didn't want to be a victim of a road rage shooting.
