3. Favorite song and artist? Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John.

2. Band: Cranberries

3. Artist&song: Yoko Kanno - Space Lion

And I used to sing in choirs. Fav choir season was all about this composer called Hugo Distler who took expressionist/symbolist poetry from the early 1800s and poured it into the weirdest music.

I wish I were musically inclined enough to play an instrument. In another life, I will learn the duduk.

1. I have very broad tastes so it's hard to pin them down by genre. That said, I am currently very into heavy metal and various sub-genres (power metal, symphonic metal) thereof.

2. Nightwish (Again, can vary with time. Even four years ago, I would have said The Moody Blues or maybe Yes)

3. "Ghost Love Score", Nightwish. Though "Daydream" from the new solo album (power pop, not metal) by their lead singer Floor Jansen is very much a current favorite.
