Hi all, i was just wondering, if anyone has written a story or poem that was inspired by their partner, do you let them read it?

All the time. In fact, her likeness is usually in the story.

My husband reads my stories, but they're not really inspired by anyone or anything. Ideas just kinda pop into my head...often at the strangest times.

My husband has politely declined to read any of my erotica. So he doesn't know that one of my poems was written to him.

Hubby takes the male roll in some of my stories, unbeknown to him, although he did read one of them, found it accidentally ... won't happen again ... my secret ...

For the last couple years I only wrote for one person these are my first efforts since then.

Yes I've written a story "Hubby's Special Present" and a poem "My Slave, My Lover, My Friend" for my Lush partner Stephen and he always gets to read them first.

Several of my first erotic stories were written with one particular woman in mind...I'd written them over the course of a few years in the late 90's...when she and her long time bf split up in 2001...I finally asked her if she'd like to read one of them...Not really telling her very much about their content, except to say - "They are fairly explicit and graphic in nature."

I'd known here for nearly 5 years to that point...and I knew she was not a big fan of reading - that she much preferred visual stimulation, as in she was and is, a hard-core, porn aficionado. She was definitely into reading my thoughts, especially as she had guessed that she was the fuel for my imagination.

Poetry is different, to me. More like a passionate kiss, a little too intimate to share with 99.9% of any audience.

When i posted my poem on here my partner hadnt read it or know anything about it and i wasnt really sure if i wanted him to read it but he caught me looking at the comments one day and said something along the lines of "reading filth again are we?" (this was a joke but i felt wounded) so i told him to read it himself and halfway through it he said to me "i know this is about me" I felt childishly pleased with myself lol.

I think i wouldnt mind him reading the stories i have written but the poem seemed quite personal but im now very glad hes seen it
