Is anyone else tired of tattoos?

I have a few and would like to get a few more. All of my current and future tattoos have special meaning to me.
I think tattoos should have meaning behind them if a person is going to get them; they are permanent and I hear that having them removed can be painful.
What's the point of getting a tattoo if it's something anyone can pick off a picture on the wall? Get something special. Sit down with a reputable tattoo artist. You'll probably pay a bit for it, but quality work is always worth it.
Not crazy about them, but to each his own. I have one, my wife initials and mine in a heart on my left butt cheek; she has the same on her right butt cheek. That is it for us.
It really depends on the tattoo(s). Some people have such alluring art... other people just look like a coloring book.

I personally don't have any, not that I'm opposed. I've just never been able to think of something I wanted on my body for the rest of my life.
Not a fan. I have to add that what seems like a good idea when you are in your late teens or twenties may not feel the same when you are older. There are conservative professions where tattoos that are visible to all might be frowned upon. Of course like many things that young people do, they don't consider later consequences.

I never wanted one. I did not like the idea of it being painful to get and more painful to remove. I feel the same way about piercings other than earlobes, so I guess I am old school.
Nope. smile

I will never grow tired of tattoos (though I have none myself). I love them on women. One in particular.

Fuck...Now THAT was fuckin Funny...

I have 4...one is with regret..Going to cover that one
Only bad tattoos.

Great body art is very cool. And tattooing has been around since extremely ancient times. We're talking a long time ago, fuckers! Since dudes wearing skirts were whacking at each other with short bronze swords. Even before that. When they were tossing spears with stone spearheads. That long ago.

Don't go cheap when getting a tattoo. You'll look cheap. Save up and spend to get good quality art from a true body artist. And go original. Do you really want the same cookie-cutter tattoo that thousands of other people have?

But if you want a high powered job, like say corporate level and/or banking or such, don't get tattooed anywhere that cannot be totally covered with a business suit. And seriously, don't wear nose, lip, and eyebrow piercings to job interviews.

I've now got 5 tattoos. But when I'm at work you'd never know it.
Hey now, sometimes a person needs to get a tat for protection. Or he's given one. Or he's bored as fuck and scratches it out with a staple.

If people wish to ink themselves up - more power to 'em. Why should I care, one way or the other?
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
Everyone to their own choices in life.
For me, I'm a cleanskin.
I would rather have 'Vampire House' (the local bloodbank) stick a needle in once and give a pint of A +ve.
Ink, to my way of thinking is a waste of time and money.
Easy to do but difficult to remove (expensive with a laser and cheap with an angle grinder).
I don't have a problem with what people choose to do to their body. Some saying that those that have tattoos are idiots is absolutely absurd. I have 4, they all have meaning and I take a long time to plan and design mine and I assure you I'm not in the slightest un-intelligent or trashy, or ruining my body.

I see some tattoos that are absolutely beautiful and a work of art and unfortunately even more that are quite bad, but it doesn't make me think any more or less of the person who has them.

So no, I'm not tired of tattoos. But am tired of people judging other people based on something as silly as a tattoo.

I would rather be "old school" then, than consider a single millimeter of your flesh altered by anything but nature over time.
No, never. Tattoos are HOT and you fucking know it.

You said it better than I. Being somewhat visual, I see well-done tattoos as a piece of art. There are even ways to cover tattoos up if they're well-placed, usually by wearing clothes. ;-)
why any one needs to disfigure their body with tattoos is beyond me. the body is beautiful in its own right. all these silly men marking their arms and legs and then have to wear shorts and sleeveless tops so everybody can see them, even in the depth of winter. "My tattoos are better than your tattoos" Small minds
No! Beautiful, well done tattoos are excellent.

Yes. I totally despise when people with their tattoos are all up in my face like 'Hey, look at my tat!'

Like, you can totally tell they do it just to spite everyone instead of just something they do for themselves. And the part that really grinds my gears is when I'm forced to look at them against my will.

Tattoos should only be allowed if they have meaning as well as approval from the general public.

People and their autonomous decisions to get their bodies inked in any way they choose are the absolute worst. Fucking losers.

Hear, hear.
A few years ago I was dating this girl who got a tattoo to remember her grandma... It was an open bible with a black and white portrait of her grandmas face on one page and some bible quote on the other. She got this tattoo on her left shoulder. The portrait of the grandma turned out less than stellar... Doggystyle is my favorite and to have the grandmas portrait staring at me and also making me more than worried about where everything would eventually land was a major boner killer. I mean I didn't want to jizz on her dead grandma for fucks sake.

I broke up with that girl not just because of the tattoo but it certainly was the breaking point.
I'm a fan....not necessarily something I enjoy on everyone, but I am a fan.
I'm not a fan. I don't have one and never will. They don't do anything for me and I find excessive ink a real turn off.

I have one on my butt cheek, my ex's name in her signature. I hope to get it removed or covered. At least it is not visible, except when I am naked, which is most of the time at home or on my boat.

Update: Had it laser removed, 4 treatments. Ouch! Much like a sunburn, and because of the positioning, taking a dump was a challenge. It is gone now, and I will never have another. However, if you want one or have one or more, who am I to judge. Be yourself and screw what other people think.
