The creator of this universe tells us that we are alone and that all things within and around us are for us....So lets forget there are others and enjoy what we have for tomorrow has its own problems anyway...
Na. I believe in other things walking among us, but not aliens.
"Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it you can either run from it...or, learn from it." - Rafiki, The Lion King
Judging from the people I run into everyday the question may be, "Do we walk among them?"
yes if u go on the dictionaries definition of an alien
foreigner: a person who comes from a foreign country; someone who does not owe allegiance to your country
stranger: anyone who does not belong in the environment in which they are found
extraterrestrial being: a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere
i am one i have a UFO licence to prove it.
I find it inconceivable that intelligent life doesn't exist elsewhere in the universe, but I have no idea whether they have checked us out on earth yet, or if it's even practical to do so. There is still no evidence to suggest that faster than light travel is possible, without which they couldn't reasonably reach us could they?
If you're going through hell, keep going. - Winston Churchill
Even if we could reach a tenth of the speed of light, one dust particle could slam into the spacecraft, with the force of an atom bomb. That's the big problem.
If they are aliens they are pretty human.
There is no evidence that our species knows how to travel faster than light or how to deflect space debris from our path. A hundred years ago, nobody would have believed that we'd be able to clone mammals, or see test tube pregnancies.
What did our species know of science and technologies in 1910? My grandparents were born in 1910 and 1912, and lived til 1985. Imagine seeing what all they saw in their lifetimes.
I imagine that more advanced species than humanity exist and probably regard homo sapiens sapiens as little more than we regard vermin. We're not really even worth their attention.
The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
Well the top pic is the constellation Sagittarius, with the "handle" part moved away to the left, a little bit. I've spent many nights looking at that because it has a wealth of deep-sky objects. Why is that? Because it's in the galactic plane, of course!
I quote from Contact:
Young Ellie: Dad, do you think there's people on other planets?
Ted Arroway: I don't know, Sparks. But I guess I'd say if it is just us... seems like an awful waste of space.
that about sums it up for me.
Absolutely!!! They are very bizarre and inhuman and they all attend the University of Alabama.
Don't be silly. We're, er, I'm as human as the rest of you.
Walking among us? Nah...
But do they exist? Anyone who thinks that, in the whole universe, that we're the only place with intelligent life is nuts or really hasn't thought about it.
The universe is a big place. I imagine somewhere, some other species on other planets are asking the same things.
According to Drake's equation, the next alien civilization is far, far away. we are talking about the closest star (alpha proxima) being some 3-4 light years from us, and they are uninhabitable. It's impossible to get to the speed of light, since it's relative, and to get close to it would require an energy source so huge it is unimaginable, at least to us humans. the so called wormholes will rip you to shreds before spewing you in another place, and even massive black holes can't produce them as far as we know (4+ the mass of our sun)
so.....
No.
You'll know it when you see it
Look at half the shadow cabinet to see the truth of this...!
