Most of my friends are pretty active in London's LGBT community. Many of my female friends consider themselves bi even if they pretty much only are attracted/sleep with other women. My male friends all classify themselves as gay, and a few of them argue with me that there is really no such thing as bisexuality. People who say they are bi are straight, but "go gay" for a few specific people. I don't agree with this, I just think there is a sliding scale of sexuality. For me, I am attracted to men, women and everybody in between.

Some very good answers here that ring the right bells. If a man enjoys watching another man give his wife a good length does that make him bi ?Men that have a fascination for huge cocks inaction are they bi ? Watching porn is that not in its self a bi activity.

I think a woman being Bi is just more accepted in society. You hear of many of the younger actresses today admiting they have been with girls sexually. In turn many teen girls today use these celebs as role models and copy their actions so many higschool girls have experimented with another girl. A local magazine did an anonymous survey regarding sex and drug use in Highschools (including my daughters school) in my area and one of the questions asked was about bisexual experiences. More than 30% of the girls polled admited to being with another girl and 4% of boys admitted to being with a boy. Now this may mean something as innocent as kissing or touching, that they didnt expand on. But it seems girls being "bi" is the chic thing today. While for a guy it is still very . Until some high profile men admit to being Bi, this will continue.

Just my worthless opinion!

What does it mean to be "bi-curious"? I like to wear panties and other articles of women's clothing. I am turned on by shemales. I like my wife to use her strap-on on me. I have given her strap-on a BJ. It turns me on when she calls me a sissy. I get turned by watching men jack-off. All of this and I have never been tempted to be with a man. Am I bi-curious? Though my wife and I are both switches, I am more of a sub--are these fetishes reflective of being submissive?

I dunno--when I think about all the labels--my head starts to hurt. I just like doing what pleases me without concern about into which category I fall.

Sounds to me that you just love sex, maybe a little to the kinky side! And you and your wife are not afraid to explore your sexuality. Not bisexual, just SEXUAL. Just ENJOY!!

I have always been out about being bisexual. I know of someone who is very much bisexual, but he is just not open about it to most poeople, the ones he loves, and trust, are the ones that know.

Very interesting how our society is so accepting of bisexual women and not of gay or bisexual men.

I believe that if humans would just accept one another for who they are, more men would come out and say that they have an attraction to their male counterparts. So tired of stereotypes!

I'm a guy and consider myself to be bisexual. I would rather be totally heterosexual, but since my wife has no interest in sex, I need to find relief and enjoyment somewhere.

I have no interest in men romantically and don't like any huggy, kissy, or anal activities. My common denominator seems to be that I like cum, whether from a well-fucked pussy or from a hard cock. I enjoy on the wetness of it all.

I think that the essence of being bisexual is just liking the genitals of both sexes, without the romance, although I know that some might disagree with me on that.

In my opinion it is sexist. There are more bisexual girls than there are bisexual dudes. I mean when I was in High School, about 50% of the females were bisexual or lesbian, when the guys percentage was around 5-10%. I think guys just have a bigger ego. Especially in today's world.

Read some history, because it isn't just in today's world. Far from it.

I love to look at both men and women, but I prefer sex with a woman. most people are Bi-Sexual or they like to see both sexs naked
Don't be afraid to be who you are!

I suspect more men would, like me, admit to being bicurious at certain times rather than being bisexual. For myself I have no interest in other men unless I am in a mmf situation. Then and only then if the couple is similarly open-minded do I enjoy sharing the man with the woman and vice versa.

You can use broad or narrow terms to define bisexuality but I think it’s important that you respect people’s definition whatever it is. For some people bisexuality is a phase, a brief experimentation, but for many people it is a lifelong committed sexual orientation.

I’ve noticed an interesting cultural development in which bisexuality has become trendy in young women, particularly the younger generation because they are influenced by celebrities whom these young girls look up to. “I kissed a girl and I liked it”, Katy Perry told us in her #1 hit single. Megan Fox, Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga, Anna Paquin, Angeline Jolie, Drew Barrymore- they all want as to know that they are bisexual. But there is no comparable crowd of young male celebrities rushing to assure us that they are both ways.

During my teens I became aware that I like women. For me I am attracted equally to both women and men. My attractions are towards qualities I see in an individual regardless of the person’s gender. Sometimes these qualities involve gender, sometimes not.

Just something to think about:
In an attempt to codify sexual attraction for the two genders, human sexuality researcher Alfred Kinsey developed a seven level rating scale in which "0" meant purely heterosexual and "6" meant purely homosexual. The vast majority of adults rate themselves as a "0." A gay and lesbian minority identify themselves as a "6". A small minority are bisexual (ratings 1 to 5). Of these, only a very small minority are attracted to both men and women equally and identify themselves with a "3" rating. This is known as the Kingsley Scale.

I am bicurious and would love to suck a cock. Now I just need to find one to suck so I can call myself bisexual instead of bicurious.

it is acceptable for females but not for males so everybody hides it

I think there are a variety of reasons. First, this kind of thing is dependent on the actual makeup of any group (i.e. how many actual bisexual men and/or bisexual women are in a group of coworkers, forum regulars, etc.)

A factor in this would be the fact that female bisexuality is more accepted than male bisexuality. I have noticed that male sensuality is making more of an appearance in mainstream media, but it's nowhere near as accepted as mff or ff relationships. Because of this, a lot of bisexual males aren't ready to come out and deal with the repercussions of liking men and women.

I've also seen that some gay people don't see bisexuality as a "real" sexual orientation; they see either straight or gay, and nothing in between. I don't know how prevalent this is out there.

There are also still people out there who think anything other than straight attraction is sinful/disgusting/against God, etc., which causes a lot of people to hide their sexuality in general. People who've feel rejected by close family and friends are more likely to keep their sexuality secret. (For example, there are friends I have that I'm never going to let them think I'm anything but straight.) Something like this would affect both sexes, though.

As far as I'm concerned, I think I'm bisexual. I've listed myself as bicurious on here because I've never actually experienced anything more than jerking off with another man. But I have gotten off on both GLBT and straight porn and scenarios, so I'm pretty sure.

I think most of this has already been said or alluded to but I'll post my thoughts anyway.

I think many have hit it.....it is perfectly acceptable in society for a woman to be bisexual or lesbian....men find that hot. But for a guy to bisexual or gay that is a no no. It is not acceptable. In fact if a guy admits he is bisexual he will often be told that if he has sex with a guy then he has to be gay and to just admit it.

I have even been in online game sites and seen guys who will openly seek out bi-girls to talk to and play games with but will harrass any gay or bisexual guy that might be in the room.

A guy takes a very big chance admitting to his friends, co-workers or family he is bisexual. Girls have some risk too but a girl who is bisexual has a greater chance at acceptance than a guy ever would. IMO

I think even a girl can safely tell another girl she is attractive but a guy finding another guy sexually attractive. You express that at the wrong time, you will find yourself flat on the floor or at least with a bloody lip.

I think that same lack of acceptance makes it hard for bi-guys to even come out to themselves. It's taken a long time for me to stop dismissing my odd erotic dreams and fantasies about guys as aberrations and realize that I'm probably bi. Being taunted about being "gay" in high school (when in reality I wasn't sexually involved with anyone and was mostly interested in girls) probably didn't help. Whether I'll get to experience sex with a guy is an open question, given that I'm presently married to a woman, but who knows what lies ahead?

I have always had a feminine look, but have never been attracted to men by just looking at them. Part of always looking a bit feminine was the constant teasing I received about it in my youth by other guys, so that didn't really lend itself to being attracted to them.

I have started to look at men on occaision to see if they 'did anything for me' but don't feel any of the stirrings in my loin the way I do when looking at women. I have always enjoyed anal stimulation and penetration and have wondered about a suitable partner, however I'm quite shy in my day to day life. I don't have any of those type of friendships that lend themselves to experimentation probably because I've worked so hard to show myself in a very heterosexual way.

The big issue is labels. Most men that I know are outwardly homophobic. I say that because even if they do have an interest in male to male sex, there are very few guys that would admit it to their friends.
Like many have said on this forum, if you say you are bisexual, its the same as being gay to most guys. Even my buddy who used to come by to swap blowjobs, would not admit to being Bi. Hell he even said given the opportunity he wouldn't suck someone else's cock.
I personally find that hard to believe. Having had his cock in my mouth many times, I know that I would gladly suck another if I had the opportunity.
Also, for you guys on here that have said that you might suck cock but wouldn't do anal, you don't know that until the situation arises. I thought I would never have a dick in my ass, even though I was intereseted in sucking cock, but once I tried it, I love it.
The reason I say I am Bi is that there are no romantic feelings towards men. I don't want to cuddle, hug or kiss a guy, but I do love the feel of a hard cock in my mouth.

I am married, I love the female body and everything about a female. I am however attracted to cock. Nothing else in a guy has really attracted me thus far. I would consider myself bisexual, but have not advertised it due to reasons everyone else has already stated before me about it not being generally accepted for me, but very much accepted for females.

So in the end, I am bisexual.

I have been bisexual since puberty. I don't advertise this fact in the open world because of the EWWWWW factor.
One would likely never know that I'm bisexual unless I actually told them. I keep it this way because there would be a great deal of negativity in my professional life. I think there are a lot more bisexual men than would be willing to admit it. This includes the ones who secretly watch and get into gay or bisexual porn with the lights off and the shades pulled down when no one's home.
As for the ratio of bisexual women to men, I think it's easier for women to accept and embrace bisexuality than for men because of social norms. Most mainstream (straight) porn movies have what I call the OLS (obligatory lesbian scene.) You don't see too many scenes where men are into each other unless the topic of the film has to do with men with men. Many men find it acceptable (and often a turn-on) for two women to be into each other; they don't consider two men together the same way.
My ultimate fantasy is to be the middle of a shemale sandwich. Any takers?

My guess is that there ARE more bisexual women than men for starters a simple example; a girls sleep over. One thing that MANY girls do is? "PRACTICE" kissing! GUYS don't do that. Primarily because a sexually curious guy is mostly focused on GIRLS. There are some guys who are homosexual and some who ARE bi (fewer than the two extremes) conversely a LOT of women are bi sexual (although some refuse to admit it. Like one gal I worked with who had no problem with stating that a female coworker was "GORGEOUS!" And, yet claimed she felt NO sexual attraction to her! RIGHT!)

I am straight, also 100%, but I do get turned on by a hard cock. Transgirls get me really horny. So I am not bi, but I do like a cock. Just my tupence worth.
