Not a soccer fan really, and was also not very interested in the world cup, till recently when i visited my home town Cape Town and experienced the vibe and atmosphere in the country first hand. I now even have an SA flag hanging from my car window... Go Bafana Bafana you may not be the best in the world, but the patriot in me can never support another country make us proud boys......

Maybe not a powerhouse but they're stronger than they've ever been. Gio dos Santos, Carlos Vela and Efrain Juarez were on the side that won the under 17 world cup a few years back. They're no push over this cup. I think the big big teams will have to play perfect to beat them. So far their only weakness is defending set pieces. (free kicks, corner kicks)

I know... I was skeptical of this move too. In the qualifiers and friendlies he came on and scored goals and created chances though. His style of play doesn't require too much speed. I doubt he'll play more than 20 minutes a game if he plays at all. If a game is about to go to a penalty shoot out he'll come in no doubt, he never misses.
