thursday - my going out to eat day. all alone.
either chinese or indian. last week was Mexican.
chinese is better for hot days, but the indian has a bar haha.
the Indian food is good, but a lot of times I'll get the steak. 20us for steak and salad. but the drinks and frites, tip take the price right up there.
Simple dinner and very delicious.
2 Sunny-side up eggs topped w/ sliced avocado, a drizzle of homemade thousand island dressing, a sprinkle of blk salt all of this on top of a steak lol

And w/ that, we're offbto finish eating this early dinner.
Just had an amazing two hours out on a boat although I now feel queasy after going so fast 😅 Lots of sea spray to the mouth. Gonna have proper Fish n Chips now.
Not sure of the main course yet, but will start with Caprese Salad with fresh Basil from our garden and decent tomatoes from the market. Truly fresh Mozzarella is not plentiful here, but what we have will be okay.

I've cooked chicken gyros. On a side note I wish my Maltese great-grandmother had passed some recipes down. I should check some out to increase my Mediterranean culinary repertoire.
