Fruit can cleanse the palate and also be part of the pleasures. I can enjoy chocolate between courses but that is purely hand to mouth..
We recently tried Kiwi Fruit (Chinese Gooseberry) after peeling it first. It is a bit prickly in its natural state - but that can be erotic.

I think usually it (uh....you know, sex) makes me thirsty, and sometimes a very cold beer really hits the spot, or even a cold cider or a cold ginger ale on ice with a large dash of Canadian Club and a slice of orange. I don't really care much for sweets, but I have a good friend who simply LOVES Klondike Bars, so I always keep some on hand and occasionally we share one, but she sometimes eats the entire bar....in case you were wondering what she craves.

Hm... I've always found it difficult to keep from sloshing the drink out of my glass in that case....
