I was raised to eat steak medium or medium rare. Then once by chance I had it rare & loved it. If it's not pink... it's shoe leather (please know... this is just my opinion.) I'm just lucky my husband likes his steaks the same way.

I hear 'medium to well' mostly ... just think people don't like it 'bloody' ... although those who claim to be steak aficioandos seem to like it quickly sealed .. no more than a few seconds each side ... so it 'swims' when it's cut ..

I prefer it red but not bleeding ... kangaroo is good .. giggles
