How would you describe this pizza?

Crust is way too dark. A nice brown is what is needed, not black.

I would say this is burnt.
For my preference in eating, I like a dark brown crust. My pet peeve is having a doughy center! Uhg! Must be cooked evenly on the bottom!!

Burned and ruined.... Throw it out and have oral sex... ;)
Great minds think alike but dirty minds work together.... ;)
I agree with the Scarlet Seductress: it is perfect. The little bits of char make it tastier.

A friend and moderator colleague of mine says that this pizza is burnt.

I think it looks absolutely perfect. I love those nibbly, crusty black bits.

What say you? Vote now!

I agree, the favors concentrated in the little black bits are intense.

My all time favorite though is a Numerous Uno thick crust.
I am always a gentleman.
That pizza looks perfect. It's the crunchiness of the cheese on top that I like. I don't like the crust overly burnt, though, just crispy. I put a cookie sheet on the rack below the pizza so the top can get very well done but the crust doesn't burn.
I am voting burnt, also, but that does not mean that most of it is not edible.

burnt
Good lookin pie
A bit overdone. Not too much, but enough.

what was that about the crust?????

I would say if the crust wasn't blackened it would be perfect.
Looks perfect to me except for the missing black olives, sausage and onions.
Burnt cheese is awesome. Like the sides of Lasagna, the best part. It adds flavor, not just a cheese flavor but the caramelization of the sugars in the cheese add to the depth of flavor of the cheese.
I like it a lil burnt
I like it crispy and this pie looks fine (on top) but if the underside is black it gets slug across the table for a replacement.
